Stage 1Stage 1
This stage involved getting feedback for our initial ideas which
included our magazine cover, poster and story board for our
teaser trailer. We did this using a feedback form we created;
once this was done we handed them out to our teacher and
class members in order to get the feedback needed. The reason
why we handed the forms to our teacher and class members
was because they knew what a teaser trailer, a poster and a
magazine cover should look like because of their conventions.
Feedback Form
Please tick on the post-it-note which magazine
and which poster we should use.
Can you tell it’s a teaser poster? How? What
would you change?

Stage 3Stage 3
This is the final stage of the feedback we
recieved, this was on our final versions of
our poster, magazine cover and our
teaser trailer.
This was the chosen
poster we decided to
use. The reason for
this being that the
feedback recieved was
helpful and there was
more to say about it.
Feedback
The ripped
background
blending into the
arm is very thriller
because it gives
it an edge. -
Deborah Sicobo
The green
colour for the
writing looks like
sick, it looks
good with the
greyish
background. -
Sophie Bell
The font of the writing
doesn't look like it
belongs to a thriller, it
looks more horror. -
Rachel Gande
The gritty
effect works
well with the
thriller theme. -
Kirubele
Getachew
This is the final
version of our
magazine cover, the
reason for this is
that it looked better
than the first
version.
Feedback
I would defiantly go
and watch this film
if I saw this
magazine because
the image looks
interesting- Jodie
Newsum
I like how you've
stuck to the
conventions of
Empire magazine
otherwise it wouldn't
look as effective -
Luke Keetch
The green colour
used for the title
doesnt stand out
as much as it could
because the
background is dark
to- Myles Williams
I like the block at
the bottom, it
shows initiative on
how to use the
space- Jaseep
Kaur
The background of
the magazine
seems to be too
dark because
some of the text
dissapears- Laila
Shenair
These are
screen grabs
from our
finished teaser
trailer
Feedback
The teaser
trailer had a
lot of
suspense and
made me
want more-
Isabella Cuttill
I liked the action in
the middle of the
teaser trailer it
helped make it
tense- Corey
Collins
When the title came
up I thought it was
the end but it wasn't
and I jumped, it was
shocking- Will
Reynolds
I wasn't too sure
about the trailer
because I believed it
was too ordered to
be a teaser trailer-
Liah Sabin
AnalysisAnalysis
The feedback we recieved throughout this piece of coursework was both positive
and negative; I agree with some of the comments made. The reason for this is
because the negative feedback for our initial ideas and the first edits helped to
create our final versions to our standards and theirs, the negative feedback for our
final pieces however would make a difference if I was to do this project again.
However, some of the feedback I disagree with because I believe that what they
have said is not true.
On the other hand, the feedback has enlightened me look at my project in a
different view, this is because everyone has a different perception. The negative
comments on my final versions of the productions have the most effect; they
provide me with different opinions and if I were to conduct this project again I would
take in those comments and implant them into the work so there would be not
faults. For example, Liah Sabin said "I believed the trailer to be too much in order;" I
would take in this comment and if I were to do this project again I would look more
carefully at the trailer to ensure that it is not in precise order to get a better effect.
