5. Today this country stands a stronger,richer,fairer,healthier,more accomplished nation. For the first time in centuries, if not ever, Indians believe they can really change their lives for better.
6. Domestic companies that were minnows are now global giants. Executives who once struggled with whether they can afford an apartment after retirement now make enough money every year. Domestic helpers who once struggled to wear clothes now prefers to buy off the shelf.
8. But such triumphalism is both immature and premature. The burden of history, tribalism and dogmatism that ossified this ancient nation still haunt its present, challenging the new age manifesting in the country at every step.
9. Across the country the Brahmins still crucify Dalits,feudal landlords still exploit peasants, husbands still burn wives, robber barons still rule commerce, thugs still win elections and the orthodox still refrain reformers
10. It is believed that these are terminal conflicts and in the long run do not diminish the Idea of “ INDIA SHINING” BUT Until these core problems are overcome it will shame us and hamper our Re-emergence.

Currently making Money has come to be the idea of the day, and although the human and social problems facing the country have been sidestepped, India has indeed done well for itself in absolute terms. But In relative terms the Gap between India and many of its peer nations, especially Asian ones, has actually widened in the past decade.
12. That’s because money is merely an enabler. It is what one chooses to do with it that defines a nation’s place in the world Other emerging nations are making wiser use of their money and success.
