2. Lorakeets
• These birds were beautiful colours. We
were allowed to feed them a milky water
that had vitamins added to it, if we gave the
park a gold coin donation. They felt really
funny when they landed on you. They even
pooed and weed on my head - yuck.
4. reptiles
• I like the photo of me inside the Boa
constrictor. It felt really weird. My brother
and sister and I got to hold a real life snake
at the park. It was awesome. The skin felt
really soft and bumpy. The scales were
shaped like hexagons. The body looked like
you could poke your finger through. It was
cold to touch. It needed hot lamps to warm
it up so it could move because its winter.

7. Holding the snake
• It was preety freaky when I was holding the
head.My Sister was supposed to hold the
head end of the snake but then she went to
the back of the line so she could hold the
tail around her neck.
9. Crocodiles
• I learnt that there are 23 species of crocs in
the world and 2 of them live in Australia.
The fresh water crocs are ONLY found in
Australia. They are quite a bit smaller than
the salt water crocs - or Salties. These
crocs look Dead because it is winter and
they don’t have any warmth in them. I never
knew that could be in fresh water.
11. BABY CROC
The baby croc had a plaster around it’s mouth so it can’t
bite us. It was really funny when I held it’s mouth because
it felt all crumbly. Dad was freaking out when he was
holding it and he said he wasn’t used to holding stuff like
crocodiles.

Meteres
This crocodile looked really freaky because they have got
spikes all down the back and tail of its body. These help it
to move silently through the water. I learnt that their tail
is the only thing that can make them jump. They can jump
half their body length out of the water...so with this croc
you would still be in danger 2.5 metres from the waters
edge. A croc can hold its breath for an hour under the
water
14. Kangaroos
• On one of the kangaroos it has got a baby
Joey in the pactch. I learnt that a kangaroo
can kill you with just its TAIL be cause first
it will knock you out and it will kill you.
16. Cool Aboriginal People
• I like the guy on the left bottom
with the stick he is cool. The
aborigines are native to Australia
17. WOMBATS
When we went to the wombat it was hiding but then the
lady talking about the wombat she throw out a carraot
but the wombat still didn’t come out so she still keeped
throwing food and then the wombat came out and ate it
the carrata first and then ate the other food. I learnt that
wombats have got pactchs
18. Kolas
I learnt that baby kolas live in a pouch for 5-6 months
and then they climb on to the mothers back for until they
are about 10 months and the boys leave the mothers first
before girls and they eat eucalyptus leaves.
