4. Stanley got up close and personal
with his new sheep friends!
5. Stanley passed by one of the most famous addresses in
London... 10 Downing Street. This is where the Prime
Minister lives! The Prime Minister is like our President.
6. Stanley stands in front of Millennium Bridge. This bridge is one
of London's newest and was built for the year 2000!
7. Stanley stands in front of St. Paul's Cathedral.
He even climbed all the way to the top for the
best views of the city!
8. Stanley heard Big Ben bong! Big Ben is
the name for the bell inside the clock
tower.
9. Stanley had "Great
Expectations" when he came to
visit London and was not
disappointed. He visited the
house of Charles Dickens.
Charles Dickens was an author
who wrote many books!
10. Stanley poses in front of the remains of
the Wall of London. The Wall of London
used to encircle the entire city!
11. Stanley saw the Eye, which is one of the largest observation wheels in
the whole world!
12. Stanley saw London's newest
monument. A monument is like a
statue and this important one
honors all of the women who
helped in World War II.
13. Stanley stands in
front of
Westminster
Abbey. This is a
famous Church
where Kings and
Queens have
been crowned!
14. Stanley thought that this beautiful bridge was London Bridge, but he, like many others, was
mistaken. This is Tower Bridge. Stanley thinks that there should be a song about this one too!
16. Bravo! Stanley found The Globe Theatre where William
Shakespeare's plays were performed in the past and today!
17. Stanley had a fun “flight” on British Airways' London Eye!
18. Stanley took a snap in
front of Victoria Tower.
Victoria Tower is
connected to the
Houses of Parliament.
This is where the
politicians work.
19. Behind Stanley is the River
Thames. The River Thames is an
important body of water that
separates Old and New London.
20. This sign means that a Tube, or Underground,
subway station is close, which is a good thing
because Stanley was getting a little tired after
all of that walking!
