ODU 11/12 Explorer Guide

The ODU 11/12 Explorer was designed by Hu-Friedy in conjunction with Old Dominion University's dental hygiene program. It has a fine tip and rounded back for easy insertion into deep pockets, and a shank design that allows for better adaptation to interproximal and curved surfaces. The double-ended explorer can be used to explore the entire dentition with one instrument. It is made of a durable alloy and provides tactile sensitivity for detecting calculus and exploring pockets.
