142 New York City teachers took a technology survey on August 14, 2007 about their internet access, computer use, and experience with online tools. The survey asked teachers about their years of experience, home and school internet access, email use for work and personal accounts, frequency of internet and computer use with students, using online resources for planning lessons, communicating with parents and students via email, participating in online professional development, using LCD projectors and social media, blogging, and contributing comments online.
