I N T RO D U C T I O N
Global Warming is the single biggest
environmental and humanitarian crisis of our
time. This issue will cause large-scale disruptions
in climate with disastrous consequences, which
threatens our health and safety. This activity
aims to investigate more about this extremely
important matter and for everyone to know
exactly what climate change is and what they
can do to help the earth.
ACTIVITIES
The following activities consist on, a deep investigation about
what is Global warming, the root of the problem, and the possible
solutions or habits people have to take into account in order to
revert this dangerous issue. When the investigation is over, the
students will have to present the following projects:
A Power Point file containing information about what is Global
Warming and what is causing it.
A Flickr page with pictures and/or videos showing the
consequences global warming in your city.
A poster made on Glogster with the possible solutions and
habits that people have to take into account in order to stop global
warming.
PROCES
To build up this investigation here are some steps you must
follow:
1.The groups will be formed by 6 members.
2.You will have 60 minutes to work in class during a period of 2
weeks.
3. Within each group there will be 3 sub-groups:
- 2 students dedicated to create a concept of Global Warming and
what causes it.
- 2 students dedicated to take pictures and/or filming videos.
-2 students dedicated to the design of the Glogster poster.
4. All the members of the group must know all the information
used to create these activities at the moment of the oral
presentation, it does not matter if they have different
assignments.

EVALUATION
The students will be evaluated according the following aspects:
The colaboration of each member of the group during the research, the
oral presentation, and elaboration of conclutions.
Coherence and clarity during the oral presentation.
The use of techonological sources.
The use of the inforation previously selected by the teacher.
The design of the documents which were asked.
Correct use of grammar and spelling rules.
The elaboration of al the tasks given.
CONCLUSION
This experience will be finished with an oral
presentation for the rest of the class and some
teachers and students from other classes. At the
end, this project will be not only useful for
yourselves, but also for the rest of your
classmates, teachers, and families. This will help
everybody to realize that Global Warming is a
serious matter which can only be reduced if
people start being conscious about what is
happening in the world and the result of our
actions.
