exam.
After successful completion of the ARRT exam, applicants must submit an application for
license profession through the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing and
pay the $70 application fee. X-Ray Technicians cannot acquire a Utah state license to practice
without proof of certification. A radiology license will enable x ray technicians to legally gain
employment to practice in Utah hospitals, public healthcare facilities, laboratories, diagnostic
testing centers, and outpatient care institutions.
The X-Ray Technicians should renew their licenses annually and required 24 credits of
continuing education every two years. Those who fail to engage in and document continuing
