8. EMTF Scope of Work
# Expectations
1. Establish and convene regional Emergency Medical Task Force work group(s), to include
multiple Trauma Service Area (TSA) subject matter experts, as applicable.
2. Develop regional gap analysis for each EMTF concept, to include staffing, supplies, and
equipment for the region.
3. Develop regional plans for each EMTF concept in conjunction with the statewide concept
strategies.
4. Develop roster of personnel to support each EMTF concept.
5. Participation in statewide EMTF face to face meetings and/or conference calls is mandatory.
6. Establish at least one fully rostered, trained and exercised team for each of the EMTF
concept including: Ambulance Strike Teams, AmBus Strike Team,
Nurse Strike Teams, Mobile Medical Units Strike Team
7. The EMTF regional representative will attend a one day orientation for the EMTF provided
by the EMTF State Coordinating Organization (SCO).
8. All supplies and equipment purchased must be on the standardized equipment/supply lists.
If additional funding is available other supplies or equipment may be purchased for the
teams that are not on the standardized lists.
