How to configure a feedback button on your site
Step 1:

▪ Go to getsatisfaction.com to configure a feedback button

Step 2:

▪ You will get different plans under
‘Pricing & sign up’ tab but they are
not free plans and require monthly
fees
▪ We recommend you to choose ‘Set up
a free community plan’ from footer
▪ This plan offers all the required
features, for free
In footer under plans tab
▪ Click on it and you will be directed to
sign-up page


Step 3:

▪ Fill in your details to create an

▪ Click on ‘Sign up’

Step 4:

▪ Add your company details in the
form e.g. Company name
‘easyystore’
▪ Submit the information by clicking

on ‘Add this organization’ button
▪ Remember your web address on get
satisfaction. It’ll take you to the
dashboard where you will manage
feedbacks from your customers

Step 5:

▪ Congrats! Now you have successfully created an account with get
satisfaction
▪ To add feedback button, click on ‘Install our widgets’ link

▪ Select the first widget like the screenshot below
▪ Click on ‘Get the code for this widget’ to customize the code

Step 7:

▪ You can customize your feedback button as per the design of your site


Step 7.1:

▪ Tab color: It shows that what color
of feedback button you want on
your site. By default your feedback
button will appear in black color


Step 7.2:
Idea is selected. Customer can also choose
Questions , Problem or Praise
▪ Default type: It shows the preset first
option to give the feedback, when any
visitor clicks on your feedback button

▪ E.g. If you select ‘Idea’, then the visitor
will be prompted as ‘share an idea’

▪ However, the visitor will get 4 options
to provide feedback


Step 7.3:

▪ Placement: It shows the
position of the feedback
button on your site

▪ E.g. If you select left, then
your feedback button will be Feedback button
with left placement

of your site


Step 8:

▪ After customization make sure to
click on ‘Update your code’
button

▪ Now copy the code carefully by save changes

Step 9:

▪ Log in to your Eshopbox control panel with your login id and password
▪ Click on ‘Get Satisfaction feedback’ under Promote tab

▪ Paste (Ctrl + V) your get satisfaction code in the text box provided
▪ Then click on ‘Save’ button to submit your code to Eshopbox

▪ Congrats! That’s all you have to do to configure feedback option at your
site

▪ Appearance & functionality of your feedback button depends on the HTML
code that you provide us. So copy & paste the code with care

▪ Your feedback button get integrated in your site within 72 hours

▪ You can manage the feedbacks provided by your customers at the web
address you had given while submitting your company details
