It is a famous tourist attraction site, it was built
by the Romans the 2nd century A.D. Segovia is a
historical city.
AQUEDUCT OF SEGOVIA
Unique landmarks from the 17th century. They were used to grind the wheat
with the wind. They stopped being used by the 1980's.
LA MANCHA WINDMILLS
It is a National Park in the province of
Ciudad Real. It is a wetland protected
area formed by the rivers:: Guadiana
and Gigüela. It is very important for
its fauna and flora.

5. DONOSTI/SAN SEBASTIAN- La Concha
Beach
La Concha Beach is one of the most famous features of San
Sebastián, Basque Country.
It is located right in the city center. It offers wonderful views of
the bay along with the Santa Clara Island and Urgull and Igeldo
Mountains.

BILBAO - Guggenheim museum
It was designed by the Canadian American architect Frank
Gehry. It represents a magnificent example of the 20th-century
architecture. It is located alongside the Nervion River, near
Bilbao’s city center – Basque Country.

RIAS BAIXAS
The Rías Baixas are the largest estuaries that
spread from south-west to north-east of Galicia,
in the north part of spain
They are made of cliffs, rocks and sharp falls
combined with areas of sand.
PICOS DE EUROPA
It is a group of mountains located between
Asturias, Cantabria and Castilla-León formed by
three main massifs bounded by deep valleys and
gorges. It is considered a natural reserve. Its
extension is 67.455 Ha.
7. EL CAMINO DE SANTIAGO-THE WAY
OF SAINT JAMES
It is a big network of ancient pilgrim routes across Europe
leading to the tomb of Saint James in Santiago de
Compostela cathedral, in Galicia, in the north -west of Spain.
Nowadays it is a social, tourist, cultural and sports activity.

12. It is one of the 14 Spanish National Parks, the second in the
pyrenees and the only one in Catalonia. iT IS IN THE NORTH OF
llEIDA 'S PROVINCE.
This 14.119 hectare park has an amazing amount of biological
diversity, meadows, temperate coniferous forests, alpine valleys,
peaks over 3.000m high, and rock formations.
WATER IS THE MAIN FEATURE OF THIS HIGH-MOUNTAIN
LANDSCAPE, WHICH CONTAINS SOME 200 LAKES AND LOTS OF
MOUNTAIN STREAMS.

13. Sant Jordi: Day of the Book and the Rose
23rd April, the day of Sant Jordi, the patron saint of Catalonia. Nowadays, it is
the day of the rose and the book, the day of love and culture. The tradition of
giving roses as a symbol of Love, on this day of Sant jordi, comes from the
famous legend of Saint George.
SANT JORDI
This traditional dance is performed by a mixture of men and
women who hold hands in a circle before making choreographed
moves.
The music is performed by a type of band called la cobla.
There are twelve instruments. Five of these are wind instruments.
La sardana can be danced by every body.
LA SARDANA
They are used in traditional dances or
events. Its main characteristic are the
sparto soled shoes "espardenyes" and
the "barretina", a wooden hat in form of
a bag, usually red or sometimes purple.
