Located in the heart of Barcelona the Museu d’Història de Barcelona (or Barcelona History Museum) is one of the most emblematic sights in the city. The
museum complex includes various unique buildings from different ages of Barcelona’s history. On this occasion we will go on a private guided tour around
the roman ruins of the ancient city of Barcino.
After the visit we will have dinner in a terrace at Casa Padellàs. This Gothic building is also in the museum premises, and dates back to the first half of the
14th century, but was refurbished with a Renaissance decoration style at the beginning of the 16th century. The patio has been conserved, with its noble
staircase and Gothic gallery, Renaissance decoration with family heraldry on the doors and windows, and its upper arcade.
The galleries provide beautiful views of the Barri Gòtic (Gothic Quarter) and its buildings.
