5. PREPARATION PHASE
This phase is basically for preparation of the main
Project;
Working with the most ACTIVE and
committed Organizing Committee of AIESEC IFM.
Things that intern will do involves:
1. Selling
2. Finance Management
3. Events Planning
4. Preparation of Global village
6. 1st WEEK interns shall be given a
chance to get acquainted to the
Tanzanian lifestyle….
This is by learning the different
cultures and some basic Swahili
phrases and greetings.
Not only that but they shall also
participate in their country
presentations in the Global Village
event.
The trainings shall be facilitated
by the one of the project’s
partner [TAGDEP]. T
7. 2nd WEEK
Interns will take a study tour
to the Beautiful historical
town of Bagamoyo
[18th century].
To get a knowledge on the
rich coastal history including
the slave caravan and they
shall be able to visit different
famous historical sites like the
famous Bagamoyo museum
and the College of Arts [Chuo
cha sanaa] which is the major
arts college in Tanzania. Link

8. 3rd Week:
Interns shall take a
tour to the world’s
famous island of
Zanzibar
Experience the rich
coastal culture of
the town most
popular for the
great Arab slave
trade, its vast
variety of foods
and spices, and get
a chance to relax
by the clear sands
of the beach coast.

9. 4th week
Interns will get to visit the
small town of “Arusha”,
through the famous
Ngorongoro crater and to
where the footprints of the
oldest man reside! That is
the Oldvai Gorge.
Here they will have a chance
to see the beauty of the
landscapes of Tanzania, the
National parks and learn
about the History of the
Oldvai Gorge.
10. 5th week
During this week the interns
shall get to take part in a
professional entrepreneurship
event that will take place in
form of a forum and shall
include some speeches and
trainings from different experts
and self-made businessmen
specifically in the fields of Music
and Arts.
The theme of this event shall be
aimed at promotion of
innovation in the business world
through the Music and Art
industry.
11. 6th week
Interns shall take part in
an exciting Music and art
event whereby street
kids, orphans, from the
ages of 9 to 15 years old
will attend and get to
participate in some
painting, clay molding
and dancing competition
that shall be coordinated
some expert personnel in
painting and music.
There will be awards
given to the winning kids,
and some poetry and
music performances from
some local artists and
poets.
