The key audience for our chosen
song would be targeted towards
15-25 year olds. The ethnic group
this song targets is white males and
females.
The beats per minute for this song is 105. This follows
the conventions of a dance song.
Outline of proposal:
We visualise that our music video will feature
two work colleagues, and the female has flash
backs from her drunken night the previous
day. She happened to have bumped into her
work colleague (male) that night and things
were not kept professional.
The music video genre is narrative as we will
follow this story throughout the production.
Narrative: The woman walks to work, and as
she puts her headphones in, latch comes on,
and it reminds her of the night before. She
begins to have flashbacks of her previous
drunken night where she remembers sleeping
with a man she met in the night club. The
flashbacks will be in time with the beat of the
music. When she arrives at her place of work,
she bumps into a man outside, and when the
camera reveals his face we see it is the man
from last night. They then walk into work
together and it is revealed that they are
actually work colleagues.
Characters- We will have two characters in our music video. Male
and female. The female will be a mousy blonde to represent her
usual professional self, however the video will show the influence of
alcohol on her behavior. She will be short and innocent looking. The
male will have brown hair as conventionally this more masculine, he
will also be taller than the female as again this is a convention for
genders and relationships. It also suggests to the audience that he
has more control.

The flash backs could look very effective,
which will pull the whole music video
together
The narrative is strong and easy to follow
The use of a lot of shots will make the
music video look smooth along with the
track as it is very upbeat
