2. Educational technology offers a good curriculum to
students nowadays. It provides a useful tool in the teaching and
learning process using the advance technology we have in our
generation. It helps teachers as well as the students achieve better
learning.
3. 1. Providing
technology in
instruction
(3) Acquaint
students on IT-
related learning
theories with the
computer as a
tutor
2. Impart
learning
experiences in
instructional
technology-
supported
Educational Technology 2 will talks about providing understanding about
computers and its functions and services, specifically applications/soft wares that cater
computer-based activities that will truly help students and teachers.
4. 4) Learn to use
and evaluate
computer-based
educational
resources -
(6) Inculcate higher-
level thinking and
creativity among
students while
providing them
knowledge of IT-
related
(5) Engage
learners on
practical
technology
Educational Technology 2 will talks about providing understanding about
computers and its functions and services, specifically applications/soft wares that cater
computer-based activities that will truly help students and teachers.
5. Since technology is very powerful, there is an issue emerging regarding on how
to properly and effectively integrate it in the teaching-learning process due to
the very fact that the mere use of computer in the classroom do not necessarily
mean technology is being integrated.
6. Basic
Concepts
on
integrating
Technology
There’s a change
in the way
classes are
traditionally
conducted.
The quality of instruction
is improve to the higher
level such a way that
could not have been
achieved without
educational technology.
There’s planning by
the teacher on the
process of determining
how and when
technology fits into the
teaching learning
process
The teacher sets
instructional
strategies to
address specific
instructional
issues/ problem.
7. Level 1 (Simple
integration)
-technology integration
has no substantial
change in the
teaching-learning
process from the
previous method. While
technology helps, it
does not play a pivotal
role. Ex. The use of
LCD Projectors in
presenting concepts
and, examples through
images/pictures
Level 2 (Middle level integration)
-there is a purposeful use of technology to
support key learning areas. Ex. The use of
instructional simulation software in which
students play detectives to solve mysteries
related to Geography in their Geography subject.
Level 3 (High level
integration)
-technology Is the
central instructional
tool. Level 3 (High
level integration)
-technology Is the
central instructional
tool.
8. Many schooling systems are now using information technology to provide
better understanding to difficult concepts to students in classroom and at home.
Many schools have now digitalized their classroom, by encouraging the
students to use information technology to submit their test , homework and
assignments.
9. Role Of IT in Edtech 2
1.Information technology has
matiomade both teaching and
learning easier:
2. Information technology helps the
teachers and administration to keep
track of all students in classroom:
3. Education using digital books:
4. Information technology has made
education fun and entertaining:
10. Role Of IT in Edtech 2
5.Information technology has made
education accessible for all the
students:
6.Information technology has made
access to research and information
much easier:
7.Information technology has made
group studies and assignments
much easier :
11. The effective Use of Technology in Education has changed the
face of education and it has created more educational
opportunities.
Both teachers and students have benefited from
various educational technologies, teachers have learned how
to integrate technology in their classrooms and students are
getting more interested in learning with technology.
12. 1. To orient to the
learner in
pervasiveness of
educational
technology in
society.
2. To lend familiarization
on how educational
technology can be
utilized as media for the
avenues of Teaching
Learning process3. To up lift the learner
to human learning
through the use of
learning technology.
13. 4. To introduce the
learner what is
recognized as the
third revolution in
education, the
computer,
5.To acquaint learners
on basics aspects of
community education,
functions of the school
media center.
6. To impart skills,
planning, designing,
using and evaluating
the technology enriched
Teaching-Learning
Process.
20. ICT Strategies to Support and Enhance
Geoscience Australia’s Scientific
Capability Enhance Geoscience
Australia’s scientific capability through
the use of the best software solutions
available. By preference, we will use
open source and existing “trusted
community codes” for software
development, or leverage existing
scientific software. Where no suitable
software is available we will promote
open collaborative development of new
code with other science agencies and
researchers.
21. Ensure ICT strategies are fully aligned
with international best practice and
innovation in the government and industry
spatial sectors.
• Provide enterprise platforms that enable
repeatable, discoverable workflows for the
creation, analysis and delivery of spatial
data.
• Implement or enhance enterprise
platforms to allow spatial data workflows
to be moved to HPC or cloud
environments with a minimum of
redevelopment.

Strategies
22. To Support and Enhance Geoscience
Australia’s Scientific Capability
• Provide computing support and advice
to: − Facilitate project entry into scientific
computing
Develop and support HPD structures.
Australia ICT
Strategies
23. In Malaysia, ICT components can be broadly grouped under
digital content development, e-Learning, e-Commerce, e-Public
services (also known as e-Government), and ICT R&D and
intellectual property (IP).
The Malaysian ICT subsector is one of the country’s largest economic
subsectors.
According to the 25th Productivity Report 2017/2018, in
2017, the subsector experienced an added value growth of 8.4%
(worth RM 71.1 billion), which is an increase from the 8.1% (RM65.6
billion) in 2016.
24. “IT adoption and e-
commerce adoption
is very high among
consumers.
However, there is
room for growth in
the adoption among
the SMEs.
Micro-learning Platform
It is well known that
there has always been a
mismatch between
academia and the
industry.
“Industry always moves
so fast, so academia is
always left behind
Nationwide productivity
movement across all
segments of society to
create higher levels of
awareness and
understanding of the
importance and benefits of
productivity at enterprise
level, along with guidance
on how to measure and
track productivity.
25. The moment I've entered the room or study edtech 2,I
have no idea what is this all about. As the time goes by I've
learned a lot about edtech 2 and how is it very important for us
to know. The main concern of edtech 2 is to help the students to
acquire knowledge and skills about computer or technology so
that we as students can use it to the near future. Learning
edtech 2 is concerned with the use of computers, when it comes
in student- centered learning with the very broad power of this
invention, it allows us to be independent learners, where the
students are not being spoon-fed by their teachers also we can
easily research something that we don't know about. We are
now in modern times and the students should be the primary
concern. And through computers and Internet we can be the
center of teaching inside the classroom.
Reflection
26. In this subject I also learned that computers is natural learning
vehicle for cooperative learning. Cooperative learning same as
collaborative or group learning, by which students are expected to
perform with others help. If we are working with group, there will be more
ideas to contribute and there will be more interesting moments because
we are with our friends, we are enjoyed. That's why the five progressive
nations like, new Zealand, Australia, Malaysia Singapore and hongkong
was was used ICT to develop and improve their community and also to
make their everyday living easier. That's why, here in the Philippines we
study edtech2 to learn the proper use of technology to improve our
country and also for us to become competitive to other countries.

29. Technology… is a queer
thing. It brings you great
gifts with one hand, and it
stabs you in the back with
the other.

30. Once a new
technology rolls over

of the steamroller,
you’re part of the
