A conversational user interface is simply…messaging. It isn’t a dedicated piece of software for a dedicated activity.
Apps or websites, on the other hand, rely on rich media interfaces for the user to search, browse and uses buttons and menus.
I’m not implying that one is better than the other but they each have their time and place. And the advances in messaging allow for greater flexibility now to do more than what was once possible. In fact, messaging via some messaging apps are becoming more advanced that the user experience is almost like a merging of the two.
Looking at chatbots as a resource to scale training is really just looking at how “conversations can scale training”.
Ask yourself, what conversations, if automated, can deliver business results?
