Mobile commerce is growing rapidly as users shift to smartphones. Global smartphone shipments are projected to surpass desktop and laptop PC shipments by 2013. eBay sees mobile apps generating $1.5 billion in sales for 2010 alone. However, most mobile apps see little usage after the initial download.
