DADYou taught me how to catch a ball

You taught me how to sing and pray

You showed me how that God forgives
And gave me all that you could give.
I am the man I am today,
Because your love helped to guide my way.
Many words can describe you well,
Like father, brother, teacher, and friend.
But the one that I always defend,
Is the one that goes from beginning to end.
Dad is name that I called you first,
It’s the name that you earned by putting God first,
And loving your family for better or worst.

which has limited his movement on one side
making it necessary for him and his wife Clara to
move to an assisted living home in Florence, AL.
