Proverbs 20:8 A king that sitteth in the throne of
judgment scattereth away all evil with his eyes.
If great men are good
men, they may do much
good, and prevent very
much evil.
Matthew Henry Concise Bible Commentary.
3. 3
Justice is no longer the goal
of our leaders, our courts, or
our legislators.
In a trial, many facts are
hidden from the jurors.
Proverbs 29 2 When the righteous are in authority,
the people rejoice:…
4. 4
2b When the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
The wicked are ruling our nation today, and it
is a sad country to live in.
5. 5
9 Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am
pure from my sin?
Romans 3 22 Even the Righteousness of God which
is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all
them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For
all have sinned, and come short of the glory of
God; 24 Being justified freely by His grace through
the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
6. 6
Some folks are wanting to get their lives
straightened out before they become Christians;
Before they start going to church.
That won’t work!
8. 8
10 Divers weights, and divers measures, both of
them are alike abomination to the LORD.
God hates cheating!
Deal fairly with everyone and trust God to
bless your life with good things.
9. 9
11 Even a child is known by his doings, whether his
work be pure, and whether it be right.
Behavior reveals character!
10. 10
12 The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the LORD
hath made even both of them.
God gave us eyes to see with and ears with
which to hear;
We can discern between good and evil.
Choose good!
11. 11
Romans 12:9 (NIV) Love must be sincere. Hate
what is evil; cling to what is good.
Love The Lord with all your heart.
Live your life His Way.
12. 12
13 Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty; open
thine eyes, and thou shalt be satisfied with bread.
There are so many warnings in Scripture
against laziness; we have no excuse.
Laziness will ruin your life.
If I am not sick, I need to get up and get busy
at whatever my hands can find to do.
