Dr. Jerry Hankins has loved to draw since he was a child. He enjoyed viewing art galleries and always envisioned amazing scenes from the books that he read, and he would draw them. From 5th to 8th grade, Dr. Hankins took lessons. He worked with acrylics, pastels, watercolor and pencils. His subjects were varied, from animals, military aircraft, dragons, and even KISS’s Ace Freely. Dr. Hankins went above and beyond with any illustrations for projects or papers. For his 8th grade graduation, Dr. Hankins drew everyone in his class of 47. He would draw signs for pep rallies, floats, and any projects that had to have an illustration or design.
