 You are working with your table

 Other groups should not hear you
 Raise your hand for help
 May get up to get supplies/restroom
GREEN
 You may sit with anyone
 May talk while working if not
disturbing others
 May get up for
help/supplies/restroom/drink
There are 2 rules:
- Respect

- Responsibility
 Show kindness to others
  Follow rules in halls, at
  specials, and at recess
 Follow the stoplight color at
  all times
 Listen carefully and follow
  along – even with a sub
 Discuss your answers without
  arguing
 Respect the school’s property
  – desks, books, walls, etc.
 Finish assignments and
  homework on time
 Try your hardest always

 Work well with others in
  your group
 Be a leader and role model for
  others in the class and school
 Be prepared with paper,
  pencil, books
 Raise one of your bathroom
  sticks
 Wait until I nod yes or no

 Put stick in box and take pass

 Be back in under 3 minutes

 To get new stick, write name
  on board to earn one at recess

You will be in during lunch

Ms. Davis will receive a referral from

Each month, I will choose a
  PBS Student of the Month,
  Citizen of the Month, and
  Most Improved Student.

These students do not have to wear uniform
  for a day.
These students will be the class leaders for
  the month.
When following the rules,
 your group may receive a
 group point.

Ten Group Points – each get to chose a cool
  pencil from the box.
The Most Group Points – that group can eat
  lunch in the classroom on Friday and get
  a lunch treat from me!
When the entire class is working
 as they should, I will chose a
 student to put a marble in the
 reward jar.
When the jar is full, the whole class gets a
   reward:
1 – Extra Recess
2 – Class lunch with Mr. Palmer with treat
3 – Movie with Popcorn
4 – Pizza Party
Every Monday, you will get a
  homework folder with reading,
  writing, and math homework.
Your homework folder is due
  every Friday.
If you bring homework finished,
   you’ll join all 5th graders for
   Fun Friday!
   Field Trips –visit a science museum, college
    campus, the rec center for a picnic and
    swimming, Kearney Middle School, etc.
   Do well on the CSAP and get a cool reward
    – last year we all went to Six Flags in the
    summer!
   When finishing a chapter book as a class,
    we will watch the movie.
   Fun Friday if you finish homework!
   Science experiments, group projects,
    assemblies, field day, continuation, much
    more fun.

  • 11. RED  Classroom is silent  Focus is on the speaker or test  You are in your seat  Raise your hand to speak or if you need something
  • 12. YELLOW  You are working with your table group  Other groups should not hear you  Raise your hand for help  May get up to get supplies/restroom
  • 13. GREEN  You may sit with anyone  May talk while working if not disturbing others  May get up for help/supplies/restroom/drink
  • 14. There are 2 rules: - Respect - Responsibility
  • 15.  Show kindness to others  Follow rules in halls, at specials, and at recess  Follow the stoplight color at all times
  • 16.  Listen carefully and follow along – even with a sub  Discuss your answers without arguing  Respect the school’s property – desks, books, walls, etc.
  • 17.  Finish assignments and homework on time  Try your hardest always  Work well with others in your group
  • 18.  Be a leader and role model for others in the class and school  Be prepared with paper, pencil, books
  • 19.  Raise one of your bathroom sticks  Wait until I nod yes or no  Put stick in box and take pass  Be back in under 3 minutes  To get new stick, write name on board to earn one at recess
  • 20. Not showing respect and responsibility or not following stoplight color: 1st Time that Week – Recess and Paragraph 2nd Time that Week – Recess, Paragraph, Call Home 3rd Time that Week – Recess, Paragraph, Call Home, School Referral
  • 21. You will be in during lunch recess or after school. You will write a paragraph describing what happened and what you will do differently next time. You will practice the rule you broke until I believe you know it.

  • 24. Each month, I will choose a PBS Student of the Month, Citizen of the Month, and Most Improved Student. These students do not have to wear uniform for a day. These students will be the class leaders for the month.
  • 25. When following the rules, your group may receive a group point. Ten Group Points – each get to chose a cool pencil from the box. The Most Group Points – that group can eat lunch in the classroom on Friday and get a lunch treat from me!
  • 26. When the entire class is working as they should, I will chose a student to put a marble in the reward jar. When the jar is full, the whole class gets a reward: 1 – Extra Recess 2 – Class lunch with Mr. Palmer with treat 3 – Movie with Popcorn 4 – Pizza Party
  • 27. Every Monday, you will get a homework folder with reading, writing, and math homework. Your homework folder is due every Friday. If you bring homework finished, you’ll join all 5th graders for Fun Friday!
  • 28. Field Trips –visit a science museum, college campus, the rec center for a picnic and swimming, Kearney Middle School, etc.  Do well on the CSAP and get a cool reward – last year we all went to Six Flags in the summer!  When finishing a chapter book as a class, we will watch the movie.  Fun Friday if you finish homework!  Science experiments, group projects, assemblies, field day, continuation, much more fun.
