Your body streamlines itself for what it has to handle on a regular basis. Our bodies are
programmed for normal, balanced, healthy function. They do not function outside of balance
unless forced to adapt to a physical, chemical, emotional, or a spiritual stressor (toxicities and
deficiencies).
5. WHY ADJUSTMENTS & EXERCISE?
Because Motion is Life

Balance & Tension
If your spine stays out of balance, it can put tension on
your nervous system
If you live in a state of chronic tension, then you throw

During periods of chronic stress
it is very difficult to focus on
positive thoughts due to Proverbs 23:7 “As a
stimulation of anxious/stressful person thinks in his
thoughts (adapt & unadapt) heart, so he is.”
It is easy to blame circumstances for your stress. The problem is with that is when you blame
things outside yourself for your troubles, you believe nothing can be done to overcome.

8. YOUR LIFE AS A MISSIONARY
You do not manage your
stress, you manage your
peace.
Peace is not something you
find, it is something you work
for and spend time on.
There is always enough time
to get important things done.
By focusing on these, you are
living a mission-centered life
and doing mission-ary work.
What we need to spend time on: family, health, relationship with God, are the areas that
cause us the most stress when they begin to fail.
9. PROTECTING YOUR MIND
1. Focus on the right Relationships
2. Memorize Scripture
3. Personalize Bible passages (insert I, me)
4. Affirm God’s goodness (verbalize His promises)
5. Visualize God’s blessings
6. Quarantine negativity
7. Establish a Law of Input
1.Environment - where you are reinforces who you are
2.Association - you will take on the habits of those you
befriend
3.Attention - whatever you dwell on becomes most
prominent in your mind and life.
10. PROTECTING YOUR STOMACH
Eat foods in balance ->

Don’t give up loving to eat,
but get better at choosing
what you eat
Never say never!
Take vacations

It is next to impossible to be successful or healthy long-term without acknowledging God in
all areas of your life, including diet

Food by Man - Any food that
is created or altered by man
The farther these foods are
from their natural forms, the
harder they are to digest
Stay away from:
Sugar substitutes, Dairy,
processed meats, additives
Eat twice as many veggies
as fruits
Keep adding Food by God &
keep replacing Food by Man

wellness.
