Programmatic Approach VMM’s previous focus was addressing requests for lay personnel & lay missionaries The overall setting for the Framework is within the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Framework By 2013, we aim to have clustered volunteers in areas of need in Africa and to have reduced our project partners by half
7. Realisation that we would need to change the way we work. VMM under the programmatic approach would need to gather data on results & outcomes and not just activities of VM. VMM needed to assess the impact of placing VMs in partner at local levels up to the MDGs.
