This document provides a 4-step model for stress management and self-awakening. The 4 steps are:
1. Self-examination to understand one's beliefs, behaviors, fears and strengths/weaknesses.
2. Self-analysis of one's perspective, goals, courage and role models.
3. Self-development through practices like meditation, yoga, mantra chanting and seva to develop positives.
4. Self-realization and mastery by making the best use of life's gifts through control of senses, mind, thoughts and emotions in accordance with natural laws like karma and gratitude. Consistency is key to achieving success through a purposeful life.

As Alone we are STRONG but together we are UNSTOPPABLE
Editor's Notes
No matter what you are experiencing in life right now, trust that all is unfolding in your best interests and that includes even us being here. It may not look pretty, but it is exactly what you need to learn for you to grow into the person you have destined to become. Everything occurring in your life has been perfectly orchestrated to inspire your maximal evolution as a human being and bring you into your own true power.
Our discussions with you today may prompt some openings through which you can explore to find some answers, and serve to help you remember what you already know at the core. ‘You already are everything you have always wanted to become.’
Children represents perfection… as kids we were filled with wonder and fully alive to life; infact we were enlightened as kids, meaning with full of light, no shadows, no dark sides, no fear, no anger, no resentment and no limitations….. we are morphed creatures who behave selfishly, fearfully and hurtfully… over the years we have forgotten who we really are. We have forgotten our innocence alongside this journey. One who is in pain can do painful things, one who is hurt can hurt others, only people with closed hearts can hate others.
The whole purpose that we exist is to grow into our greater selves. Life supports us in achieving this if we remain open to live. We are sent with people, events, and trials to discover the possibilities. Often, our lessons don’t come easily. Suffering has always been a vehicle for deep spiritual growth. We may not like the suffering when it visits us, but it serves us so very well; it cracks down the shell that covers our hearts and empties us of the lies we have clung to about who we are, why we are here and how this world functions. Once emptied, we can be refilled with all that is good, noble and true. Troubles can transform, if we choose to allow them to do so. Remember, where we stumble, lies the treasure.
Meditation on the insignificance of problem
e.g Mohandas at South Africa station,e.g. Steve jobs when laid down from Applee.g Michal Jordon when not selected in Std XII Basket ball teame.g Walt Disney when he was dismissed from the schoole.g Edison when he was dismissed from school for asking too many questionse.g NarendraStory of frog for the insignificance of problems
Losers ignore all the warning signs. When the roof falls in, they ask: “Why does everything happens to me?”We are the creatures of habit. We keep doing what we are do until we are forced to change……. MEDITATION on success and failures-Life goes like this.We get hit by little pebbles as a kind of warning. When we ignore the pebbles, we get hit by a brick. Ignore the brick and we get wiped out by a boulder. If we are honest, we can see where we have ignored the warning signs. And then we have the nerve to say” Why me?The only time most of us ever learn anything is when we get hit over the back of the head. Why? – e.g. health. In school when do we finally knuckle down and study? When we are about to failWhen do we usually pray? When our life is falling apart. We learn our biggest lessons when things get rough… when have you made the most important decisions in your life? When you were on your knees-after disasters, after knock backs, when you have kicked in the head.
The answer could be both Yes and No, But it lies in how we perceive it…
Call it a divine plan, call it the natural unfolding of events, it is happening. Like it or hate it, it is happening. Take responsibility or claim you are a victim., fight it or ignore it, its happening. It has been happening all your life.If we are miserable 7 days a week, its likely we have missed a lesson.
Life/ god/universe has a single agenda which is to make us grow. Seed, Egg- chicken, larva se butterfly.
Rubber band activity… exams, deadlines, projects, placements --- body
Stress when we were born… we were made to cry, we were tied in a tight cloth…You stress something which is important, when god stresses a situation in our life, he creates a pressure, not to make us panic but to make us strong. It is only the mishandling which makes our situation miserable. It’s the wrong perception which comes in the way. Lets again understand this with the example of gymnasium- over work out, which is a way of wrong handling of the situation, in the initial days causes more pain and even sometimes discontinuation.
e.g What will you call a guy who goes to a gymnasium with an aim to build his body up and crib about the pain in the muscles? Stupid
Mohd Ali in the boxing ring… I am the champion.. Auto suggestionEventually, it’s all in the mind- in our thoughts60,000 thoughts per day- interestingly 95% of those are the ones you thought day before
Emotions are pure, there are only two types of emotions, good or bad. Its our thoughts which provokes us to act in a particular way when we are feeling good or bad. When our thought is contaminated, we get provoked to do harmful acts which hurts self or society
Lion and sheep story– upasana 5 mirrors… sadhana practice aradhana– horse without lagam
Rishis use to teach us the same
By the time you think over this, let me share with you my thoughts…. In my opinion, we, as humans have one single goal, which is SELF REALIZATION/ SELF MASTERY/ EXCELLENCE
Consider it like this for a moment, if life was a game of soccer and we were to score a goal it’s important for us to know the rules properly. These people knew the rules of the nature, the laws by which our universe is governed, they knew the law of POSTIVE, KARMA, ATTRACTION, SOW AND REAP, ABUNDANCE, GIVING, GRATITUDE, INTEGRITY. Govern your actions by these natural laws to live a significant life of which success will be a byproduct; and remember, even if sometime you fail, it’s there to teach you a lesson.
