 The main objective of EOR is to recover as much as possible oil in reservoir / well
 Chemical  Miscible displacement  Thermal
 Mobility control of fluids
 Reduction of oil viscosity upon solution of the gas into the oil  Increase the volume of the oleic phase
 Heat from steam injected into heavy oil reservoir  Reduce the oil viscosity
