Personality Profile
In modern business, it is important to have a mindset of sustainability and environmentally friendly
business practices. Two fundamental characteristics of an effective and sustainable leadership
model are having the foresight of what the company is trying to attain and identifying the worth in
the process and supplying the leadership to reach the companies goals. Leadership begins with
trusting in the process, and adhering to the steps themselves. The single best way to achieve this is
to lead by example. In this paper the author will explain how Marie Ziegler of John Deere help set
the company on the path it follows today.

Marie recognized that the customers are the reason a company exists. As a good leader she
understood that without customers, there is no need for the products that John Deere provides.
The product and the service that any company provides is a direct reflection of the dedication of a
company, its values and its employees. The conduct of a business from the president and CEO all
the way down to the staff on the sales floor reflects a company's values.
Strategy is what a leader uses to develop a set of actions to follow that supports long term visions,
values and objectives (Desjardins, 2007). Strategy is the crucial aspect for the integrated management
system. There are key elements to developing the strategy that surrounds all the health, safety, and
environmental considerations required to fulfill the strategic plan. Included within this are the
planning process, setting targets and objectives, establishing and environmental policy that backs the
vision of the company, contemplating which industry code of practices will be instituted, and
defining the framework for communication. When these aspects are combined, they create an
environmental policy that states a company's base principals and projected intentions for
environmental performance.
Marie exhibits a take control type personality which is a strong

sometimes threatening when need be. He is from a wealthy family, which manages health care
and is the youngest of three. He prefers to sleep late, often due to business and schoolwork
keeping him up until the wee hours; and he suffers from hypotension, which makes rising difficult.
He is very polite to people who are in power or related to it, and claims he only helps people who
can benefit him somehow. Aiden has short, black hair, usually styled into a smart/casual look and

Clash Of Cultures
There are a lot of people around Belmont University with different concepts, different goals, different
experiences, different cultures, but most important, different methods of thinking. When I realized
that I would need to write a profile of someone else, I thought it would be the easiest essay that I
have ever done. Contrary to my expectations, I realized that to write someone else's profile is kind
of hard, because it is not only a simple thing such as just write the entire life of the person. A lot of
stuff is behind the profile of a person. When I first thought about who I should interview, I was kind
of lost, because I do not know a lot of people...show more content...
The guy that I am talking about is Andrew Gordon Conner, who has born on august 8 1992, and he
is the person that organize my hall, and needs to maintain the organization, like a security, known
here in the U.S as R.A. I knew that he was a different guy with a lot of experiences for me to know,
but actually he was way more than that.
Andrew was born at Bangkok, Thailand. At the time he told me that, I became so interest to know
about the culture, and all the differences between there and here. The most interesting thing about
Andrew is that he has already lived in few different places and knows a lot of different cultures.
He lived there in Bangkok until his six years old, and he had a good life there. He was used to
live in a property where his family was the only white family in the whole building, what for me, I
think it would be kind of scary, but according to him, it was kind of normal for him and his
parents. His dad was used to work for a company back in Bangkok that when Andrew was six, the
company changed place to Arizona, United States. With six years, he had already challenged the
difficulties of change home to another country, and especially the big change of culture.
Andrew was lucky to move when he was only six, because whenever you have more then ten years
and had already made a lot of friends, and had already gone to school, it would be much harder to get

"The Meeting" The room is silent other than the steady hum of the air conditioner. Businessmen
and location supervisors all sit around a large rectangular table, waiting for the man in charge.
There is a projector screen at the head of the table with an opening slide displayed. It reads
"Monthly Safety meeting" in plain black text on a white background. A few of the men lean back
in their chairs and relax. Two start a casual conversation. Even in the silence of the room I cannot
understand them because they are mumbling so quietly. It's an early Monday morning, and
everyone is still a little drowsy from the weekend. Suddenly the big door in the back of the room
whooshes open. A deep, carrying voice greets the room with...show more content...
Mike explains in a positive tone that the company did everything right out in the field to get all of
the great results shown in previous slides, but they had a major accident a few weeks ago that
caused this quarters to drop. A driver of one of their trucks pulled onto a busy highway in the
night and caused an accident. A few people were hurt, but it was all resolved and taken care of.
Aside from that accident Mike was very proud of how well everyone did and put a lot of
emphasis on the good parts of the report. To let them know that he appreciates all of their hard
work to keep everyone safe. He set up a date to host a barbeque out on a location so they can
celebrate a good safe month, with the people who make it happen. The final part of the meeting
consisted of what you would expect at a safety meeting, the routine standards that everyone hates
discussing. At this point he dismissed the businessmen to go back to their jobs. The location
supervisors stayed in the room. They are the people whose job it is to keep the crews out in the
field safe. They are the ones that need to know proper procedure and how to react when an accident
occurs. They keep the workers doing their jobs safely. This is where the meeting gets very boring.
Everyone in the room had

My Personal Creative Thinking Profile
My personal creative thinking profile consists mainly of implementing and clarifying. Based on
the "Tapping into Our Creative Thinking Skills to Manage Complex Problems" my first and
second preferences are implementer and clarifier, respectively. I have always been an
implementer, focused primarily on making moves in order to put ideas to work. I enjoy seeing
the results of my plans in action. For example, as the president of Global Brigades, a medical
mission's organization, I spend less time talking about logistics of the mission and more time
taking action to make the mission a reality. When the rest of the executive board struggles to plan
out details, I focus on making moves and taking it from there. Therefore, I am quick to gear into
action, in the hopes that I will learn as I go. I am also very persistent to make my plans a reality.
When we needed campus funding for our mission, I made sure I knocked on the dean's door at
least a hundred times to get that funding. I delegated my executive members to meet with all the
administrators of our campus to state our case. Finally, my persistence and action oriented attitude,
earned us complete funding for our trip. As an implementer, I would often get annoyed when the
executive board calls for meetings four to five times a week to discuss the same issues and
concerns they have discussed before. I would encourage the team to discuss an issue and solve the
issue there and then, in a single sitting. For example, we needed to

Separate but equal is the approach that my roommate and I took when we moved in. To keep
things separate, her things are on the left and mine are on the right. The equal part comes in if
one of us wants to use something of the others (such as a nail clipper or a hair tie.) This means
that almost anything we own is open to use with permission. We decided that we didn't want to

Chapter Two– The Health Improvement Issue From the various studies, reports and statistics (many
of which have been referenced and/or quoted in the Introduction) it is clearly evident that there are a
number of different health improvement issues in the town of Middlesbrough. Whilst these health
improvement issues cover such things as alcohol and drug misuse, from the reports, statistics and
studies, it is clear that the key and predominant health related improvement issue in the town of
Middlesbrough, is smoking. The Middlesbrough Health Profile 2012 says that 'smoking is one of
the main priorities for improvement in this area; approximately 30,000 people smoke in
Middlesbrough' (Middlesbrough JSNA, 2012). As a result of this large section of
Middlesbrough's population smoking, it would come as no surprise that a high number of people
are suffering from smoke related illnesses and diseases and worst still, dying of these related
illnesses and diseases prematurely. The high numbers of people suffering smoke related illnesses
and disease will have an adverse impact on the local NHS and other services and in turn, be a high
impact in terms of money, budgets and increasing costs that the local NHS

was easily accessible to many customers, stayed open later than most stores especially during

reason he led in sales in profits. He would buy straight from the wholesaler, which enabled him to

"My first injury is by far my most remembered. I broke my leg on the last lap after hitting an
approach." I had a chance to watch Brian race and the experience that he described. "Getting hit in
football or any other sport is physically demanding, but you get breaks. Breaks in the form of
quarters, halves, time–outs, or even between plays or fouls. In motocross there is no breaks. In
sports you have a team that you can rely on in case you mess up. In motocross you mess up you

My Professional Profile Essay
After taking the StrenghtsQuest and the Holland Interest Inventory I have realized a lot of points
that I've never realized before. I have realized there are certain things that I did know about but I just
never justified the interest in knowing about it. After much consideration I'm honestly not sure if my
career that I'm looking into is really what is going to fit my profile. I'm going to tell you my top
three scores from the Holland Interest Inventory and the top five StrengthsQuest. I took the Holland
Interest Inventory first and my top three characteristics that match me are Social, investigative, and
Realistic. Starting with the social characteristic, it completely demonstrates me because I love being
with people and I have great...show more content...
I know that I'm physically strong and I have very aggressive behavior most of the time. I have
many goals that are economical because I plan on trying to change the world someday with all
I've got. I'm mostly stable, shy, practical, and also athletic. I love sports only because I am able to
let out all of the stress that comes with my life most of the time such as running for hours. It says
that I would "rarely perform creatively in the arts or sciences." Those were probably the worst
subjects I had to take in my whole school career and I never will be able to get a good score in those
classes. Now when it comes to the StrengthsQuest it fits me perfectly to what I thought my
description was. The first one that I had was adaptability. With this I'm the type of person that goes
and takes things day by day. I hate to think about the future unless I have something good that I
know is going to come out of it for sure. I also discover new things that are going to happen in the
future every day. I also love to just go do something and seize the moment while it lasts. I can
potentially be not only spontaneous but very mellow and lay back at the same time. I tend to not
like to go days by a schedule and do things the way that they come to me at the beginning of the
day. I feel that this is one strength that I completely see myself as. Deliberative is

Essay on Community Profile
Introduction
The locality I have based my community profile on is Ardoyne. I feel that Ardoyne is familiar
enough for me to carry out my research as I have lived here all my life. Although my project is
based in Belfast city centre, we work with many groups and young people from the Ardoyne area.
this would prove beneficial to myself as I would sometimes have already developed a relationship
with the young people through community life.
I will firstly explore the community I have chosen by speaking to local people, using photographs,
and recordings of my observations. In doing so I intend to create a picture and overall feeling of
the community as well as the people who live here. This data will be accompanied by my own
comments in...show more content...
For a community that witnesses a lot of conflict during each year Ardoyne is full of people who
love to chat and help out whatever why they can. The older generation in particular take pride in
their 'what's mine is yours' attitude. While taking this picture an old lady quietly asked me if I
was a tourist. I replied laughing telling her no. she went on to tell me that she walked her
granddaughter to school through the protesters each morning while it lasted. In that time she had to
endure spitting and urine filled balloons being hurled at her by the protesters. She also talked
about the day a pipe bomb was thrown at the parents and children of the school. She said she
'wouldn't wish it on anyone' as she slowly walked off. I couldn't help thinking what a bizarre
experience just chatting with the old lady, who was completely open to sharing her experience with
me.
Improving a specific aspect of community life
The aspect of community life I have chosen to explore is the 'drinking culture' within Ardoyne. In the
small area that is Ardoyne there are eight pubs, five of which being night clubs. I feel that this
environment is contributing to the many issues facing the community of Ardoyne.
There were a total of 547 offences

ћonЙ™dД“/ (n.) An interacting population of like–minded individuals,
affecting the identity of the given members and also their cohesiveness. My community reaches
from a small part of Chicago to different, more well–known parts of the Windy City. This
community has taught me many principles of life despite how my part of the city is secluded
and at times, refuses to assimilate. As I've watched this city grow old, I've also seen how this
community has built me piece by piece to who I am today. As stated by Dorothy Height, without
community service, we would not have a strong quality of life. It's important to the person who
serves as well as the recipient. It's the way in which we ourselves grow and develop. This, in fact,
is true. In the community I have grown to love, the people and the events that occur have taught me
how to treat others, regardless our age, knowledge, etc. These morals were ingrained into me the
first time when I went shopping with my grandmother. Every day my brother and I would search the
streets and see young...show more content...
My community has taught me life skills, but this community has one flaw. About 80% of my
community are Asian and they often can be narrow–minded of other ethnicities. The first taste I had
was when I was hanging out with other Asian kids. The children did not agree to play with
African–American kids as a result of their parents admonishing them. Fortunately, my parents
disliked the color barrier and provided me multiple chances to explore and decide who I wanted to
be around. My brother and I were signed up for a diverse sports program. We did not believe what
the adults said about other races, so we gave it a shot. I got a sense of African–American and
Hispanic culture and realized how wrong the adults were who told me how they were "dangerous/

Personality Profile of Marie Ziegler and Her Leadership at John Deere

  • 1. Personality Profile Essay Personality Profile MGT/360 Personality Profile In modern business, it is important to have a mindset of sustainability and environmentally friendly business practices. Two fundamental characteristics of an effective and sustainable leadership model are having the foresight of what the company is trying to attain and identifying the worth in the process and supplying the leadership to reach the companies goals. Leadership begins with trusting in the process, and adhering to the steps themselves. The single best way to achieve this is to lead by example. In this paper the author will explain how Marie Ziegler of John Deere help set the company on the path it follows today. Marie Ziegler has set the standard for John...show more content... Marie recognized that the customers are the reason a company exists. As a good leader she understood that without customers, there is no need for the products that John Deere provides. The product and the service that any company provides is a direct reflection of the dedication of a company, its values and its employees. The conduct of a business from the president and CEO all the way down to the staff on the sales floor reflects a company's values. Strategy is what a leader uses to develop a set of actions to follow that supports long term visions, values and objectives (Desjardins, 2007). Strategy is the crucial aspect for the integrated management system. There are key elements to developing the strategy that surrounds all the health, safety, and environmental considerations required to fulfill the strategic plan. Included within this are the planning process, setting targets and objectives, establishing and environmental policy that backs the vision of the company, contemplating which industry code of practices will be instituted, and defining the framework for communication. When these aspects are combined, they create an environmental policy that states a company's base principals and projected intentions for environmental performance. His dad was used to work for a company back in Bangkok that when Andrew was six, the company changed place to Arizona, United States. With six years, he had already challenged the difficulties of change home to another country, and especially the big change of culture. • 7. My Personal Creative Thinking Profile My personal creative thinking profile consists mainly of implementing and clarifying. Based on the "Tapping into Our Creative Thinking Skills to Manage Complex Problems" my first and second preferences are implementer and clarifier, respectively. I have always been an implementer, focused primarily on making moves in order to put ideas to work. I enjoy seeing the results of my plans in action. For example, as the president of Global Brigades, a medical mission's organization, I spend less time talking about logistics of the mission and more time taking action to make the mission a reality. When the rest of the executive board struggles to plan out details, I focus on making moves and taking it from there. Therefore, I am quick to gear into action, in the hopes that I will learn as I go. I am also very persistent to make my plans a reality. When we needed campus funding for our mission, I made sure I knocked on the dean's door at least a hundred times to get that funding. I delegated my executive members to meet with all the administrators of our campus to state our case. Finally, my persistence and action oriented attitude, earned us complete funding for our trip. As an implementer, I would often get annoyed when the executive board calls for meetings four to five times a week to discuss the same issues and concerns they have discussed before. I would encourage the team to discuss an issue and solve the issue there and then, in a single sitting. For example, we needed to Get more content on HelpWriting.net

The equal part comes in if one of us wants to use something of the others (such as a nail clipper or a hair tie.) This means that almost anything we own is open to use with permission. He purchased a franchisee of the Butler Brothers, which consisted of two chains in Newport. One chain was the Federated department stores, which were small department stores and then the Ben Franklin variety stores. Sam's store was a variety store and with the help of Butler Brothers, his store led in sales and profits in the six–state region (Wikipedia Encyclopedia 2). Sam started his first store with the same principles that we can still see today at Wal–Mart and Sam's Club stores. He stocked all the shelves with a wide range of goods with very low prices, he kept his store centrally located so it was easily accessible to many customers, stayed open later than most stores especially during Christmas and Thanksgiving seasons, and experimented with discount merchandising which is the reason he led in sales in profits. He would buy straight from the wholesaler, which enabled him to lower his price per item, to sell a greater quantity of goods, thereby escalating his sales volume and profits (Fitzgerald 2). All these ideas were new to businesses, however Sam caught on fast and was able to use them to his advantage.
