Diamond Dust, established in 1975, is
probably one of the longest running
DJ services in South Wales, including
Swansea, Cardiff, Bridgend, Neath,
Llanelli, Port Talbot, Carmarthen,
Tenby and Aberystwyth. We provide a
Party and Wedding DJ service, as well
as children’s entertainment, which
includes robots. Have a look though
our website for more information.
This month we have been DJs at
a Teenage Disco at Cardiff
Harlequins RFC (East), an Annual Ball at
Halfway Inn , Nantgaredig,
Carmarthen, Children’s Birthday Party at
Milford Haven RFC (West) and our
regular Children’s Discos Longford
Memorial Hall, Skewen, Neath.
Here is the YouTube Video of
the latest Cardiff Disco from
our Channel DJ Diamond Dust.
Hope you like it!
I was going to update the blog next
weekend; but realised that next month, we
would have started March! A few weeks
later, it will be British Summer Time and
another school holiday begins. Where has all
the time gone? It’s been quieter this month,
which was to be expected, what with the run
down after Christmas, and this being the first
school holiday after that. The days are
definitely getting longer; but not necessarily
warmer. The extra daylight has given us the
time to revamp and update the lighting
systems of the show and get some repairs
This has been the first time in a while that
we have had a run of dry weather. All
going well it will be time to get the KATT
out and do some test runs as before we
realise it will be time for some Science
Roadshows with the robots.
Carmarthen School Robot Lesson
Friday 26th January 2018 – I had a really
wonderful time at Model Church in Wales
Primary School, Carmarthen. The Year 6
pupils were enthusiastic about the story of
my “8 Foot Robot Cat – KA-Tash-Trophe”.
They asked some brilliant questions. They
were enthusiastic and enjoyed the
PowerPoint presentation. They appreciated
examining the robot claw. Lessons like this
helps in the promotion of STEM and Science
in schools. A special thanks to the teaching
staff for their support.
