Yuvraj Singh is an Indian cricketer who played for the Indian national team. He was a left-handed batsman and slow left-arm orthodox bowler and is considered one of the greatest limited over cricketers of all time. After overcoming cancer and returning to cricket, he established the YouWeCan foundation to raise awareness about cancer and help patients fight the disease. He also founded the Yuvraj Singh Centre of Excellence to provide training and opportunities to young cricketers.

cricketer but in the second part it’s about how
he changed and matured as a person, his
growth as an individual.

YouWeCan is a foundation established by Indian cricketer
Yuvraj Singh meant to fight Cancer by spreading
awareness about the fatal disease.
During Yuvraj singh treatment for cancer is undergoing,
he experienced the level of pain a cancer patient suffers.
So he immediately founded You We Can, an NGO(non
government organization) to help the cancer patients fight
against cancer.
“I am determined to make a dent in the society and fight
for controlling cancer but cannot achieve my objectives
without your participation and support. I believe, together
You and We CAN. And remember, if Yuvi Can, You Can!!”

12. UV AS A STAR CRICKETER
Yuvraj’s form improved late in 2005 and early in
2006 in the ODI cricket. In three consecutive
series, against South Africa and then against
Pakistan and England, he scored centuries and
was soon among the top ten of the ICC ODI
batting rankings. Although India lost a series
against West Indies, Yuvraj’s performance was
noticed and he was shortlisted by the ICC as
one of four nominees for the International One
Day player of the year award.
