Just In Time Is the doing that provides the payoff.
JIT in Education Just-in-Time Teaching (JiTT for short) is a teaching and learning strategy based on the interaction between web-based study assignments and an active learner classroom. Students respond electronically to carefully constructed web-based assignments which are due shortly before class, and the instructor reads the student submissions "just-in-time" to adjust the classroom lesson to suit the students' needs. Thus, the heart of JiTT is the "feedback loop" formed by the students' outside-of-class preparation that fundamentally affects what happens during the subsequent in-class time together.			-G. Just in Time Practically is a…. Production strategy with a new set of values to continuously improve quality and productivity.
Seven Principles of JIT Produce to exact demand  (Cater to limited strength in a classroom) Eliminate Waste  (Cater to giving 100% result of students) Produce one-at-a-time. (Concentrate on one project/ innovation/ implementation of Quality Education at a time) Achieve continuous improvement (Have excellence through KAIZEN as a motto of the school) Respect people (Recognize the talents of your staff and children) Allow for no contingencies. (Quality Counts at all levels no matter it is at the level of the classroom management) Provide long-term emphasis. (Set goals towards improvement, as Rome was not built in a day)
Utilizing Quality@Sourcein Education The term Quality@Source defines the implementation of meeting customer expectations by the value adder doing it right the first time and every time.
JIT Modules in Education Just In Time in Learning Just In Time in Teaching
Research Methodology: We attribute this success to three factors that enhance student learning, identified by Alexander Astin* in his thirty year study of college student success:  increased amounts and quality of student-student interaction  student-faculty interaction  student study outside of class.  By fostering these, JiTT promotes student learning and satisfaction. *Astin, Alexander: What matters in college? Four critical years revisited (San Francisco, CA: Jossey-Bass Publishers, 1993).
What is Just-in-Time Teaching designed to accomplish? JiTTis aimed at many of the challenges facing students and instructors in today's classrooms
The JiTT classroom session is intimately linked to the electronic preparatory assignments the students complete outside of class. Exactly how the classroom time is spent depends on a variety of issues such as class size, classroom facilities, and student and instructor personalities.
Just-in-Time Teaching strategy pursues three major goals: To maximize the efficacy of the classroom session, where human instructors are present.  To structure the out-of-class time for maximum learning benefit.  To create and sustain team spirit. Students and instructors work as a team toward the same objective, to help all students pass the course with the maximum amount of retainable knowledge.
Principles of Q@S: Perfect Parts Every Time (Defines perfection as a habit) Operator Responsibility (The ownership Quality of the employees/ Teachers/ Students) New Customer Definition (The parents/ teachers/ students) Applies to Everyone (To doorman to the Top Management) Application of Tools viz. Process Control & Problem Solving Tools
JIT: Web Content JiTTweb pages fall into three major categories:  Student assignments in preparation for the classroom activity: WarmUps and Puzzles.  Enrichment pages. Short essays on practical, everyday applications of the course subject matter, peppered with URLs to interesting material on the web. These essays have proven themselves to be an important motivating factor in introductory service courses, where students often doubt the current relevance the subject.  Stand alone instructional material, such as simulation programs and spreadsheet exercises.
Just-in-time Learning is an emerging educational paradigm where learners identify specifically what they need to learn and access it quickly from a wide variety of educational providers, instead of taking whole courses from local educational institutions on their fixed schedule. Ideally, just-in-time learning is- the exact content and delivery method that the learner needs, available at the time and place the learner needs it.
The new preface of learning: Traditional learning is delivered in a specific location at a specific time, presumably to amortize the "set-up" time for a course. The new technology allows students to learn anytime, anyplace and in any increment of time. Institutions need to change their educational models to deliver this just-in-time learning.
