5. Bye bye Big 12
• Nebraska to announce their departure for the Big Ten today.
• Pac-10 announced yesterday that Colorado will join their
conference in 2012.
• Pac-10 to possibly offer 5 more schools from the Big 12 and
Missouri to decide whether or not to join the Big Ten.
• Kansas and K-State are left hanging out to dry.

6. Even Trojans don’t always work
USC has received a two-year bowl ban and the loss of 30
scholarships due to the numerous amount of violations
primarily involving the recruitment of Reggie Bush and O.J.
Mayo.

7. Reefer madness!!
New Jersey has become the 14th State to legalize marijuana
for use by people with chronic illnesses.

8. Meat is easier to find….
Local field meats are becoming easier to find now-a-days.
Take these Scottish Highland certified organic grass-fed
cattle for instance. This all started around 2000 when a new
found culinary interest in better-tasting, healthier meat
married environmental and food politics.

9. Adidas and the 2010 Fifa World Cup
Yes, Star Wars is making a come back. Adidas has chosen this
classic to help promote their partnership with the 2010 World
Cup. And a little star power has been thrown in to maintain
its futuristic flare.

10. Pirating doesn’t pay or does it?
Because of a lawsuit filed by the RIAA (Recording Industry
Association of America), the New York-based Limewire could
be liable for up to 1 billion dollars due to copyright
infringments.

11. iPhone 4 Unveiled
• The iPhone 4 was unveiled on Monday. It will be 25% thinner
than the 3G and sports the A4 processor (same as Ipad). The
16Gb will run for $199.

12. There’s a breach in the hull!
After an Apple employee lost an iPhone prototype in a bar,
there has been an embarrassing security breach exposing
over 114,000 iPad owners including dozens of CEO’s, military
officials and top politicians.

• Mobile metrics report conducted by AdMob
• China has .05% penetration with 922,138 iPhones and Touches in a
population of 1,338,612,968
• USA has a 3.45% penetration with 18 million devices in a population
of 309 million.
• Winner is: Singapore has 8.08% penetration with 480,950
devices(1453 iPads) in a population of 4 million.

14. iPad vs. Kindle
Apple’s iPad went on sale in April of 2010. Since then, the
iPad has already taken up 22% of the e-book market share.
