5. How we communicate
- Artificially restrict the number of permitted
articles per issue/ unit of time despite no actual
restrictions (print) exist anymore.
- Turn an anti-rival good into a rival good (both
for OA & CA, just differently)
- Collect and redistribute scientific literature
- Act as a notary permitting the attribution of a
scientists work
- Filter mechanisms: editor & peer-reviews (a
“curated list”)
