Among the areas of
newspaper, a feature article is
the closing link between
journalism & literature.
A feature article
informs and entertains.
A feature article
is straight and direct.
A news story is a mere
reportage of an event or idea
or situation.
CES studes join confab

Learning at stake
Citing that learning inside the classroom is
affected when students freely use electronic
gadgets like phones and tablets during class
hours, the General Parent Teachers’
Association released its resolution no. 4 that
restricts the usage of these devices during
class hours
Learning at stake
According to the resolution, gadgets of
the student violators will be confiscated by
the teacher and they are required to render
service for their offenses.
Teachers should consistently monitor this.
They should train the students that gadgets
are prohibited.

Brownie
It is furry and brown. It always gets near me
whenever I go home from school. It would
bark, “arf arf arf” then would lick my face.
It is my one and only dog named Brownie. I
love this pet because it always follows me
everywhere. It serves as a police guarding our
house and protects us from strangers.
Brownie
Of all the animals in the world, I consider
dog as my favorite because indeed it is a
man’s bestfriend.

One day, I went to the market wearing my shirt with my
grandmother. We bought vegetables and fruits for the celebration of her
birthday. Living 70 years is a blessing not everyone can obtain for GOD.
One sunny and memorable day, I lovingly went to the market
wearing my new, colorful and favorite shirt with my loving, caring and
very supportive grandmother. We happily bought fresh and cheap
vegetables and nutritious fruits for her forthcoming grand birthday
celebration. Living 70 years of fruitful and meaningful productive life is
a great and once in a lifetime blessing not every human being can
obtain from our loving and faithful GOD.

Twins separated at birth reveal their
incredible reunion story
Two years ago, on a chilly, gray, rainy Saturday
afternoon in London, AnaĂŻs Bordier received a screenshot,
sent by a friend, of a young woman in America who looked
exactly like her.
• “I was shocked,” Anaïs says today. “I didn’t understand
. . . who could that be?” Electrified, her next thought was to
find out more about this girl. And just as quickly, she
dropped the idea.
AnaĂŻs was adopted as an infant from South Korea
and raised as an only child in Paris and Brussels. She
knew nothing about her biological mother — only that her
adoption papers listed her as a single live birth. That’s
why, Anaïs says, “I didn’t think she could be my twin. But
the resemblance was so strong that I thought she might
be related to me to a lesser degree — like my cousin or
something.”
Meanwhile, her friends poked around the Web and
found the same young woman — a 25-year-old actress
named Samantha Futerman — in an online trailer for a
movie called “21 & Over.” This time, Anaïs investigated.
“I found her date of birth,” she says. “What are the
chances you find someone adopted from the same
country, same town, who was born on the same day?”
She thought of “The Parent Trap,” starring Lindsay
Lohan as a tweenage girl who discovers her long-lost
identical twin.
“So this time, I had no fear,” Anaïs says. “I thought
we could be twins, and twins have a very strong bond.
So I made the sudden decision to message her.”
It was Feb. 21, 2013. She sent Samantha a friend request
on Facebook that read, in part:
“I stalked you a bit and found out you were born on the 19th
of November 1987 . . . and discovered you were adopted too. So
. . . I don’t want to be too Lindsay Lohan, well . . . but . . . how to
put it . . . I was wondering where you were born?”
And then, AnaĂŻs waited.

  • 131. Two years ago, on a chilly, gray, rainy Saturday afternoon in London, AnaĂŻs Bordier received a screenshot, sent by a friend, of a young woman in America who looked exactly like her. • “I was shocked,” AnaĂŻs says today. “I didn’t understand . . . who could that be?” Electrified, her next thought was to find out more about this girl. And just as quickly, she dropped the idea.
  • 132. AnaĂŻs was adopted as an infant from South Korea and raised as an only child in Paris and Brussels. She knew nothing about her biological mother — only that her adoption papers listed her as a single live birth. That’s why, AnaĂŻs says, “I didn’t think she could be my twin. But the resemblance was so strong that I thought she might be related to me to a lesser degree — like my cousin or something.”
  • 133. Meanwhile, her friends poked around the Web and found the same young woman — a 25-year-old actress named Samantha Futerman — in an online trailer for a movie called “21 & Over.” This time, AnaĂŻs investigated. “I found her date of birth,” she says. “What are the chances you find someone adopted from the same country, same town, who was born on the same day?” She thought of “The Parent Trap,” starring Lindsay Lohan as a tweenage girl who discovers her long-lost identical twin. “So this time, I had no fear,” AnaĂŻs says. “I thought we could be twins, and twins have a very strong bond. So I made the sudden decision to message her.”
  • 134. It was Feb. 21, 2013. She sent Samantha a friend request on Facebook that read, in part: “I stalked you a bit and found out you were born on the 19th of November 1987 . . . and discovered you were adopted too. So . . . I don’t want to be too Lindsay Lohan, well . . . but . . . how to put it . . . I was wondering where you were born?” And then, AnaĂŻs waited.
