3. The HUB Story – “Condensed”
• In 1998 eleven Canadian based brokerages merged to create HUB
International LTD.
• In 2001 HUB reincorporated in the US and moved its base operation
to Chicago, Il.
• Through a very aggressive M&A program HUB has grown to the
second largest privately held brokerages, tenth largest US based
brokerages and eleventh largest brokerage in the world.
• Our Transportation division was started in 2006 by combining three
of the largest independent agency in the country to create a
nationwide transportation brokerage. We continue to grow this
program with the acquisition of transportation specific brokerages
and the hiring of transportation specific agent.
• Today HUB Transportation has over 16 locations nationwide and
continues to grow.
