Beatboxing is always changing. It is an art form and people are bringing something new to it everyday.
It’s a form of vocal percussion that mainly mimics drum machines
and sometimes turntablism. The term “beatboxing” is named after
the first drum machines known as beatboxes.
From when beatboxing starting to hit off to the modern day,
beatboxing continues to evolve in methods and technique. Fellow
human beatboxers are always looking to add something to it.

5 MINUTE FACT #3
There is no “one way” of doing beatboxing. Practicing only the fundamentals can give you the ability to
string together a awesome sounding routine.
The fundamentals that are usually presented are bass,
hi-hat and snare. There is an “outward” snare and an
“inward” snare. The terms “outward” and “inward” is
pointing to the breathing method of producing the sound.
By putting together the fundamentals and other
techniques you can create your own unique routine.
