  2. 2. Hi! My name is Mister Gucci Bijou. I’m the newest, and (I think) the cutest member of the Daktari family. Mummy Michele really loves me, and all the volunteers love to play with me. I love to play with Rubber Ducky, and my little Panda Bear. I also love to be extra cute and distract the girls in the office from working, it’s soo much fun! I was a little Me with I love Rubber How can anyonescared of Bullet at Mummy and Ducky and Panda work while I’m first, but now I my big brother Bear :o) being soo cute?!know that he’s old Bouba and slow!

  6. 6. Roland’ll Fix-it Donkey + Milk = Epic FAIL! Roland and Mmakoma have We decided to give Eeyore been hard at work fixing Maxi’s left over milk, just likethings at Daktari, including the we used to do with the sliding doors to the bar! You piggies….. What a mess!!!!! no longer have to break your back to close them!! A Welcome Return Traditional Dancing! KB organised a special treat Kabelo, or KB for short, was for the volunteers. The kids one of the first children who kitted themselves out and came to Daktari. She is still gave us a night of traditionalclose to Ian, Michele & Thabo dancing. It was amazing!! and spent her university break volunteering with us! Daktari Baby!! A Week with JP! Jacob brought his wife and hisWe followed one volunteer beautiful baby to work with for the whole week and him for a week in April. He documented it on looks just like his Facebook!   7. 7. A Little Extra Help! Office Extension At the end of May we had a Work started on our office few extra helping hands at extension, hopefully soon we’ll Daktari. Emmi from Finland be able to move around without came to stay with us for 3 days. bumping into each other! She was staying with Barry &Kirsten, who are long standing friends New Office Volunteer! and supporters of Daktari. JP came from GVI to volunteer We also had my friends with us for 3 months. We have Sean & Lee-Anne from now convinced him to stay for a Swaziland, and Lee- year as the new Office Anne’s daughter Jade. Volunteer/Outreach Assistant! Jade was soo helpful that Welcome aboard JP!! Risette made her an honorary volunteer! Top O’ The Mornin’ To Ye… Ex-volunteers Beth & Deidre Last but not least, we had 10 Eco- from Ireland sent us a box full of Club kids come and help us fix up Irish goodies so that we could camp during school holidays, they celebrate St Patrick’s Day Irish- spent almost a whole day with the style! Even Eeyore got in on thevolunteers moving a HUGE compost fun! heap!
