to use software for the
taxpayers.
3. No Awareness Campaign
Deadline of income tax returns
filing has been 30th September
every year.
In 2013, FBR did not launch
mass media income tax returns
filing campaign.
4. Print Media & FBR
FBR keeps cordial relations with
media. It has been advertising in
leading newspapers and
electronic media.
FBR should use media
continuously for 12 months
instead of only month of
September.
5. Social Media & FBR
FBR takes social media as
serious social business to
communicate with stakeholders
including taxpayers.
By investment, FBR must
develop its own social platform
as it keeps the authentic
personal data of Pakistani
people.
6. Request to Member FATE
Tax-GDP ratio of Pakistan is
very low in Asia. Honorable
Member FATE of FBR is
requested to devise
comprehensive 12 months
long mass communication
policy for taxpayers’ education
and facilitation.
