Why 16.3 instead of 8.X or 9?
“16.3” represents the first release of ApplicationXtender since the move to OpenText. The change from 8.X numbering to
16.X reflects that, by placing ApplicationXtender in the same release number system as all OpenText products.

Administrator view
For users that have access and permissions on multiple
applications after logging into AX 16.3 they will see the recent
viewed documents as well as the documents that are
checked out across applications.
User view
For users working in a single application or users without
administrator privileges, the landing page will show only the
document that they have recently viewed

Get back to work quickly with the recently viewed
document landing page
At the application level, users will see
their saved queries as well as the most
recent documents created as part of the
application.

Scan directly into ApplicationXtender when using Web
Access
Hover text provides users hints on
the type of descriptors that are
allowed for each metadata field.

Modify scanned documents in-app
Modify existing files by direct scan of replacement or
additional pages into documents.
Perform Batch scans directly from Web access.

Completely integrated text search
Search all documents or
select specific documents
to perform text search.
You can even search
within a single document
via the actions drop down.
