Stay in tune with the current internet marketing trends and see what your OFFLINE and ONLINE competition is doing Especially if your business is an online based business, see who is coming up in top 5 results in Google and analyze what they are doing. >>>>>You might be surprised that your Offline competition sometimes is different from Online <<<
2 min Track your sites statistics Again look at your goals and then go into your tools and see if you are reaching your goals as projected (hopefully you DO have projections in place :) --- If you DON’T then ----- the TIME is now, and NOW is the time! :) Social media - very tricky one to measure … Use Analytcis to see if you are driving traffic use Twitter tools to measure yout T success rate EXAMPLE : ==== tools:- you have been purchasing an add in a popular local news website. it's a great source of traffic you think .... because it's a popular site and it has lots of visitors ... Ask yourself - what is your main goal for being on that website? Is it exposure or is it sales? If it's exposure and brand recognition then it's fine, but if you are more interested in sales at this stage of your business then you have to know how many VISITS you had from that site and how many CONVERSIONS you got from this source. Take a GOOD chunk of time to monitor what you are doing so your numbers are correct. - ECOMMERCE ???? Very often your shopping cart providor will allow you to add your google analytics code to track your conversions.
