  1. CFC Youth For Christ Youth Camp Training Program July 10, 2022 TALK 3: Being a Facilitator Howto lead a Discussion Group 1. Begin with a short prayer 2. Introduce each other in the group 3. Make the participants comfortable / Establish rapport first before dwelling into the discussion. Stress confidentiality of the sharing. 4. Proceed to the discussion. 5. End with a short prayer Howto conduct a One-to-One Session 1. Greet the participant and ask how he/she is doing in the camp 2. Begin with a short prayer 3. Go through the goals  Clarify questions  Find out the factors that may hinder the participant to receive the Holy Spirit  Knowthe participant’s prayer concerns  See ifthe participants will make a personal decision to accept Jesus Christ. Howto Pray-Over your participant 1. Ask the participant to confess with his/her own lips that Jesus is Lord. 2. Spontaneous praising 3. Prayer for protection 4. Binding and casting 5. Prayer -Someone should prays-over you -Pray as you speak.Listen to the Lord 2. Speaking to the Audience -Communicate with your audience -Rapport (Generate good reaction from your audience) 3. Clarity -Speak clearly with enough volume and pitch -Avoid Christian jargons 4. Tailor-fitting Your Talk -Speak the way that fits your audience -Never use negative/green humor 5. Posture -Be confident -Avoid mannerisms -Walk around. Use helpful gestures 6. Dressing Decently 7. Time -30 to 45 minutes 8. Ending with a high note -Challenge/Encourage your audience at the end ofyour talk Sharing Your Personal Testimony 1. Personal testimonies -Bad to good or Good to better Flow:  Choose one aspect in your life  Divide your sharing into 3 parts -Before, During, and After  3 to 5 minutes  Stick to what is TRUE 2.
