  2. 2. John, how did the search process that led you to join Dinte Executive Search, start? I had been active for over 20 years in the area of strategy consulting with a firm that was primarily focused on growth strategy for large corporations. We were specialized in looking at different adjacent markets to help our clients unlock new ways to expand their business. At a certain moment, I started to think about what my next career move would be. It was largely based on my thinking of how I could leverage what I did in strategy consulting, into my next position.   3. 3. And why did you choose Dinte? When I spoke with the leadership at Dinte, I saw an organization with 25 years of experience, a solid brand name and very solid client relationships. And beyond that, I met with a leadership team ready to transform, because they discovered a different need in their client base and they understand that their clients are looking for something more than just ‘the next person to fill a role’. The leadership thinks long-term; what is the overall business impact of what we’re doing for our client, how do we get our client to that next level, and what vision do we have for our client's organization. Strategic questions such as, “do we have the right succession plan”, “do we have the right individuals in place today who are going to take the company there” and "what are the capabilities our team will need to have to transform the business", are part of our daily activities when we are working for clients. We successfully blended the business strategy approach with the executive search strategy and combined them into something that provides unique value to our clients.
