15. Opportunity #6 – REFFERALS via Visitor Information Center &
Chamber Business Office
Your Chamber is also the Official Evergreen Area Visitor
Information Center. Located inside our new office, we
display your flyers, rack cards, business cards, and event
posters for visitors to access.
We also provide referrals by phone and to visitors stopping
by. Let us know what you are doing and we will spread the
word!
Realtor members have a specialized referral system. Please
ask for details.
16. Opportunity #7 – Social Media Exposure and Participation
Your Chamber is active online through social media. Find us
on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
Feel free to post to our Wall and invite us to your events. We
have 1400+ friends who are active on our pages. We have
found Social Media to be the hottest way to get the word
out on what is happening with our member businesses.
17. Opportunity # 8– Community Calendar
Our website is THE place to submit your calendar events to.
Visitors and members check here first to find out what is
happening. It is FREE for everyone and available to all.
We also repost events in our weekly eBlast with a quick link
for event submissions. You can also include a website,
photos, gallery, and interactive maps. Once active on the
website, guests can view weather forecasts, set an email
reminder, invite friends, print event summaries and add to
their calendars.

Cutting Ceremony
When you join the Chamber, your Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
will be scheduled and you will be interviewed by staff.
Your biography and photo will be featured in our Newsletter
and on our website in addition to in our Visitor Center
Display Window.
We will also invite our membership and contact list to attend
your Ribbon Cutting through our eblast, our online calendar
and through our social media networks. This is your chance

Packets
We get Visitor and Relocation requests via phone, email, our
website, and from walk-ins for Evergreen and Chamber Member

For only $25 month, we will insert your pre-printed

Membership tiers Executive and higher receive a complimentary

Member businesses of the Evergreen Area Chamber have a solution for
said problems through the Chamber’s LEADs Groups. The groups are
comprised of up to 30 Chamber member businesses who meet on a
regular basis.
The purpose of a LEADs Group is to continuously exchange referrals and to
expand your business network. Membership in each group is limited to
one person per business category, thus creating no competition for
leads within any specific group.
Cost is $40 annually. Partner and Chairman’s Circle Memberships receive
one free membership per year.

A new membership structure was launched in July of 2011 that allows members to invest in their own growth and the growth of other businesses in our community through netoworking, marketing and exclusive Chamber services.
This new tiered structure has five levels of involvement that offer a customized approach to membership. Each level is bundled in a way the becomes richer with benefits as you increase your investment. Each level includes the benefits of the tiers that precede building on the basic membership. In the past there was one cost associated with membership that didn’t take into consideration the varied needs of all businesses.
Supporting members objectives is the foundation of the new structure in place. You spoke, we listened. Our membership structure is based on research from within our business community as well as current best practices among other Chambers in an effort to customize to suit the needs of member businesses.
Objective for the program…again offering a structure that is customized to the needs of Chamber members, a system that best supports business needs, Encourages and maximized members involvement, valuable services, networking functions and marketing opportunities in a unified manner. And of course increase attendance and involvement through buddled or included opportunities and services.

The Chamber newsletter goes out once a month through email and quarterly a print copy is sent to more than 500 members. We send out a print copy as a reinforcement due to the overload of online reading every person, Im sure in this room is inendated with on a daily basis and our members have responded in favor of having a print copy available. Our email contact list is now at more than 1300 that includes 900 non members of the chamber. This is a great opportunity to advertise your business happenings or just tell our community who you are and what you offer. Each newsletter is available for a one year period on our website.
Our contact list is growing so here is a great opportunity to feature your business in a customized ad that again reaches more than 1300 recipients. If you have the entrepreneur membership and believe you might utilize this marketing tool once or twice you might want to consider the second tier membership that include one free. At this time we are offering a separate eblast (a’la carte) for 150. Kris Grimshaw will help you create an attention getting promotion. She produces the electronic mailings, the newsletter and updates the website.
Utilize this free opportunity to share what is going on in your organization. Our members in the news features Chamber businesses with a 50 word section including your logo. You need to submit by the 7 th of each month.
As a member you have a listing on our website that includes the information necessary for our visitors to find you. If you have an Entrepreneur level membership you can add for only $49 a hotlink to your website.
The annual directory is something to consider and make room for in your budget coming up toward the end of the year. A distribution of 20,000 currently and now with our move and expansion to become a visitor center we expect that to grow this next year. All current members and local households. Visitor and relocations packets. Distributed throughout the state at Welcome centers, Denver Metro Convention and Visitors Bureaus, DIA and National Scenic byways like The Lariat Loop…this community resource guide is an opportunity for full color advertising available to our members. This year we launched the mobile app and now you can access all the information about our business community through your smart phone. Once the app is downloaded you do not have to have internet connection to access the info. It is always available to the user!
Our new location is certainly getting attention. We had 133 walk-ins in February. A remarkable number considering it is still winter so this is a great opportunity for your business to get noticed. Any flyers, rack cards, business cards event posters that you have and if you do not have consider creating marketing materials that we can offer to our visitors. We have a special referal system for realtors making it fair to our local firms to receive leads as they come in.
We have a very active social media platform through facebook at the Chamber so this is a great opportunity for you to post an event or even an introduction to our 1400 fans! Remember though you have to post to our wall for your info to get maximum exposure. We will repost to our fans. What a great way to get free advertising! Also within your listing on our website if you have a facebook business page do not forget to add it especially if you do not have a website, facebook, linkedin and twitter offer additional access to your company information!
Our website is the main access to our community happenings and resources. Utilize this free opportunity to post your event, event if it is a meeting, luncheon, large or small take advantage. This is another way to get click through traffic as well. Once on the calendar it is a link to your companies online presence.
Feb 22 nd Chamber Breakfast. Once a month Every 4 th Wednesday. Sponsorship is a fantastic way to stand out from the crowd in our community. Having added three new events to our list there is no lack of opportunity here! Consider sponsorship as a way to market to a community that believes in building relationships.
Here is an opportunity to expand your business network. Comprised of up to 30 Chamber member businesses, the leads groups offer a chance to continuously exchange referrals. Currently there are two LEADS groups that both meet twice monthly. The early addition meets on the 1 st and 3 rd Tuesday from 7:30-8:30 and the Lunch Bunch meets every 1 st and 3 rd Thursday from 11:30-12:30. As a member of one of the Leads groups The Lunch Bunch I see participation as a great opportunity to network on a more meaningful level, I mean lets face it as business owners one of the biggest challenges is sometimes communicating efficiently to a potential client what you do! The Leads groups help you expand your network through continuous contact with those who truly understand your contribution and what you offer. I am a current member of the Lunch Bunch and aside from the chance for word of mouth

Investing a bit of time at the chamber events can make all the difference. If you make yourself known, people will know you and what you do. Be a volunteer and capitalize on the opportunity to be a face in the community and generate leads at the same time.
