JobSummary:
To provide leadershipandtoestablishandmaintaineffective and workingrelationshipsof the on-site
staff and to promote a positive projectmorale.
To have a thoroughandcomplete knowledgeandunderstandingof the general contract,each
subcontract,the contract drawings,specifications andaddenda,andtoassistthe GM, Directorin the
developmentof the on-site procedures.
To examine the contractdrawings,specificationsandaddendafordesigndeficiencies,impractical details
and possible code violations,and tobringthese tothe attentionof the GM and Directorwhowill review
them.
To planand reviewthe projectwiththe customeranddevelopmentownerincludingqualitycontrol
procedures,safetyandsecuritiespractices,fieldoffice locationandlayout,temporaryutilities, staging
areas,equipmentandmanpower.
To coordinate,direct,monitor,andwiththe AssistantSuperintendentandthe technical
coordinators,(projectspecificasrequired) inspectthe activitiesof the Subcontractors,Suppliersand
internal workforce andmaterial.

To chair weeklycoordinationmeetingsandmonthlysafetymeetingswiththe subcontractorsandto
correspondingtothe Directoras a resultthereof.
To receive andreviewthe subcontractorsreportsof workdone andlabourandmaterial employed.
To reviewandapprove,ona weeklybasis,all asbuiltprints.
To reviewandapprove the workforce and subcontractor’smonthlyrequestsforpayment.
To participate,asrequired,inthe timelypreparationof monthlyrequisitionstothe Ownerandto see
that theyare promptlyreviewed.
To reviewandapprove all time andmaterial workvouchersandinvoices.
To maintaingoodrelationsandcommunicationswithall involvedinthe project.
