Began as part time general laborer and promoted to full time Trades Assistant. Utilized construction practices to
assist in remodeling academic buildings while working cohesively with a diverse team of project managers,
carpenters, electricians and painters. Specific skills and accomplishments included:
Construction
Constructed wire systems using electrical training in campus building.
Applied understanding of engineered blueprints to adhere to tolerances and specifications.
Assisted in demolition and removal of walls, ceilings, floors, electrical and IT material.
Prepped and delivered building material as needed for contractors.
Installed coax cables, conduit, and electrical equipment to blueprint specifications
Removed outdated light fixtures, lockers, and seating.
Navigated conduit and wiring through locker rooms to supply power for normal use and emergency
system.
Maintenance
Repaired and replaced equipment on a need basis as reported by student, faculty and staff.
Installed new electrical fixtures and outlets, and assisted in multiple projects that were deemed necessities to
the operation of the college.
