Began as part time general laborer and promoted to full time Trades Assistant. Utilized construction practices to
assist in remodeling academic buildings while working cohesively with a diverse team of project managers,
carpenters, electricians and painters. Specific skills and accomplishments included:
Construction
 Constructed wire systems using electrical training in campus building.
 Applied understanding of engineered blueprints to adhere to tolerances and specifications.
 Assisted in demolition and removal of walls, ceilings, floors, electrical and IT material.
 Prepped and delivered building material as needed for contractors.
 Installed coax cables, conduit, and electrical equipment to blueprint specifications
 Removed outdated light fixtures, lockers, and seating.
 Navigated conduit and wiring through locker rooms to supply power for normal use and emergency
system.
Maintenance
 Repaired and replaced equipment on a need basis as reported by student, faculty and staff.
 Installed new electrical fixtures and outlets, and assisted in multiple projects that were deemed necessities to
the operation of the college.
 Worked with interior and exterior electrical systems.
