This project is developed on windows platform. The
project is done in JAVA as front end and MS-ACCESS as
well as back end and has been titled as
“Matchmaker System”
This project is computerized and has a
lot of advantages over the manual system. It keeps
records and details of Members which include Members
Profile ID, Name, Address, Basic Details, Education
Details, and Social Details. It allows you to search the
Profiles of the members who have registered with our
esteemed Matchmaking System. It allows you to Register,
Update, and Delete the profiles quickly.

EXISTING SYSTEM
In manual system members records were registered manually
by filling forms. The records are maintained in registers. The
searching of records is very difficult because there may be
duplication with the reference ID system that has been adopted
to search for a particular Profile. However it is difficult to update
he records with time. The task is very complicated and to
maintain the records is often very time consuming.
Drawbacks of existing system :
There may be duplication in the profile ID of the two members.
Maintenance of data becomes very complicated.
There is difficult to update the records.
The system is very time consuming.
This system is not user friendly.
It is very difficult to handling records correctly.
There is no any kind of security to data.

PROPOSED SYSTEM
PROPOSED SYSTEM :
In manual system members records were registered manually
by filling forms but with computerized system the records are maintained
in database package so that maintaining the details is very easy & also
done in very short time. The user can see the records of members at a
glance and may see the records of all the members at a time. There is a
facility for the user to update and delete the information if required.

Scope of the system:
• Through the proposed system you can get member details
including member’s Profile ID, Name, Address, Basic, Social,
Education, Personal Details and more just at a glance.
• The system is reliable.
• It is very flexible to use.
• The speed of the system is fast.
• Viewing records is very easy.
• It is time saving.
• Redundancy is avoided.
• It is easy to understand and explain.
• It is user friendly.
• Duplication of records is not possible.
• You can modify the personal details.
• You can keep number of records of members.

REQUEST ANALYSIS
Fact Finding Techniques
Gathering information is not an easy work. It has been gathered
in
an organized way.
• No system details are left out.
• Right problem are identified.
• Repetitive work is avoided.
• Wrong or incomplete details are not collected.
Interview
Interviews are used for collecting data information from
individual or from groups.
1) Owner Interview
1) What are the requirements of system?
2) How system will be developed?
3) Whether the system developed is causing any problems?

Record Review
An existing system can be better understood
by examining Documents, forms and files. Thus we
gathered facts from documents. The record view can be
taken place at beginning of the system study or later
part.
Observation
We studied the existing system in its
operational mode, for which we observed the
preparation of requisition notes; reports etc. The onsite
observation helped us to understand the flow of present
system.
Questionnaire
This technique is used in the form as a specific
format questions queried to a large number of people.

LIMITATION & ENHANCEMENT
Limitations :-
• This system has been design to stand alone and not works on network.
• Data recovery is not possible if records are deleted by mistake.
• System does not provide help to user.
• User can not change format of reports.
• Following are the some points which are considered for future
enhancement :-
• Make it easier.
• Make it online.
• Make it more interactive.

CONCLUSION
In this project we are handling the details of Member details,
member reports, and all member records report. User can see the record of
any member within a few minutes. If the member want to modify the name
and address and other details then user can do this in short time.
Advantages of system :-
The system is reliable.
It is very flexible to use.
The speed of system is fast.
Viewing records is very easy.
It is time saving.
Redundancy is avoided.
It is easy to understand and explain.
You can modify the member details.
