Consumer Debt Solutions was founded in June of 2000 and we have an A+ rating with
the Better Business Bureau. We are a premier provider of online financial services and
debt consultations. We are currently members of AADMO (American Association of Debt
Management Organizations). to keep track of this ever changing industry and review state laws
and new legislation. We pass this information along to our affiliates as well.
We are an intermediary between the consumer and the debt consolidation or debt settlement
agency. We provide your clients with a very unique benefits package that gives you and your
customers many advantages. The following are the benefits given to the customer:
● Personal Credit Coach - This software provides your customer with their credit
score each month, 24/7 fraud monitoring and $25,000 worth of identity theft
insurance. (At this time, this service is provided to debt consolidation customers only)
● Budget Tracker - Our online budget tracker helps customers keep track of their daily
transactions. It also alerts them when they are close to meeting their budget or have
exceeded their budget in different categories.
● Lifestyle Management Coaching - The customer will receive 12 thirty minute
sessions with one of our Lifestyle Management Coaches upon request. The Lifestyle
Management Coaching Program at Consumer Debt Solutions was established and
operated by graduate and doctorate level trained mental health professionals. The
program is intended to work with individuals and families who are experiencing
problems of debt as a result of compulsive spending, compulsive incurring of debt,
compulsive under-earning and problems managing inherited wealth. It is offered within a
comprehensive framework that will lead to a healthy and balanced financial,
● emotional, and spiritual life.
● Customized Financial Analysis - The financial analysis is a snapshot of the customers
current financial situation. It calculates their net worth, what they will spend in interest on
each card if they do not enter a debt management program, comparison of income and
2. expenses to the national average and much more.
● Credit Education Course - This course will teach them every aspect of credit
(i.e. how to shop for the right credit card, how to increase their credit score, etc...)
● Lifestyle Management Coaching Workbook - This workbook was created for
customers that would rather read the workbook instead of speaking personally with a
Lifestyle Management Coach.
We are the only company in the country that provides this benefits package.
Advantages of using our services:
1. Since we are providing your customers with a benefits package, you are not considered
an “enrollment agency”. If you do not sell a product separate from the debt management or
settlement program, you are simply an “enrollment agency”. Please review “Federal Trade
Commission vs. Debt Set”. You do not want to be an enrollment agency.
2. Our database allows you to quote a debt management plan or debt settlement plan. This
creates diversity within your organization. Most processors do not offer this.
3. We will provide your customers with a benefits package that no other company in our industry
provides. This is a great selling tool.
4. Our customer service staff is fully bi-lingual and can assist customers in English or Spanish.
5. You are working with a company that’s model has been time tested.
6. We have an A+ rating with the BBB. Most debt settlement companies have an F rating. Our
BBB record is great as a sales tool.
Affiliate Process:
We will thoroughly train you and your staff on how to use the database to submit a client. We
will also give you all of the guidelines needed to submit a file including scripts, frequently asked
questions, etc... The following are steps you will take to submit a customer to CDS:
1. Assess the customers financial situation and determine whether they need a debt
consolidation or debt settlement program.
2. If one of those programs fits their needs, you will take the customers information, including
creditors and income/expense information and let the customer know what their monthly
payment and pay off term will be through the program.
3. If the client wants to proceed, you will take their banking information and send out the CDS
service agreement.
4. When the agreement is received, you will go through a recorded verification with
the customer and then forward the agreement to us. We will take care of the rest.
5. When the customer pays the upfront fee, you will receive your portion of the commission. We
pay on a weekly basis. Our accounting department will go over the details with you.
Debt Management and Debt Settlement Services:
We work with trusted debt management and debt settlement processing centers. When you
3. submit a client to us, we will go through the following steps:
1. Set up their ACH draft
2. Give the customer a welcome call to verify that the understand the program and the process
3. Once the customer has paid their upfront fee, we will send out a welcome letter and contact
them to gather creditor account numbers, verify their income and expense information, verify
their bank information and make sure that all of the information in the database is correct.
4. We will send the customer the processing center’s contract to sign and send back to us.
5. Once we have all of the information and documentation we need, we will send that to the
processing center.
Training and Support:
Charles Sherrer, our affiliate manager, is there to serve you in any way possible. He will
thoroughly train you and give you any assistance and support you may need. If he is not
available, I will be there to assist you.
