What Customers Are Saying
The Celestron 127EQ is considered to be a solid telescope and great for the budding
astronomer.
“I want to start by saying this is a very good starter beginner – intermediate level scope, I
decided on it for its price and images that had been taken with it, I did quite a bit of research
before buying one, as should you. I was nervous after reading some of the reviews for the
scope, but when it arrived a lot of those worries were gone.”
“I am very new at astronomy and I didn’t want to spend too much for a telescope. And for what
I paid for this, I am extremely satisfied.”
“My children were so excited that they can finally see planets and the moon! It was very easy to
put together and they are using it weekly!”
Pros & Cons
The Celestron 127EQ is a powerful telescope with a Newtonian Reflector that is to setup and
use. Being able to view the objects as they actually appear is a nice feature and means that this
telescope can also be use for viewing objects on the ground as well as in the sky. It has a high
magnification and comes with astronomy software.
This is good for a beginner but the smaller eyepiece may not be that useful. You can always
find additional lenses and eyepieces to upgrade your telescope later on.
