2. Act 20:20 You know that I have not
hesitated to preach anything that would
be helpful to you but have taught you
publicly and from house to house.
Act 20:21 I have declared to both Jews
and Greeks that they must turn to God in
repentance and have faith in our Lord
Jesus.
3. Act 20:22 "And now, compelled by the
Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not
knowing what will happen to me there.
Act 20:23 I only know that in every city
the Holy Spirit warns me that prison
and hardships are facing me.
4. Act 20:24 However, I consider my life
worth nothing to me, if only I may finish
the race and complete the task the Lord
Jesus has given me--the task of testifying
to the gospel of God's grace.
Act 20:25 "Now I know that none of you
among whom I have gone about preaching
the kingdom will ever see me again.
5. Act 20:26 Therefore, I declare to you
today that I am innocent of the blood
of all men.
Act 20:27 For I have not hesitated to
proclaim to you the whole will of God.
6. Acts 20:20 You
know that I have
not hesitated to
preach anything
that would be
helpful to you but
have taught you
publicly and from
house to house.
7. Act 20:27
For I have not
hesitated to
proclaim to
you the whole
will of God.
8. (AMP) For I never shrank or kept back
or fell short from declaring to you the
whole purpose and plan and counsel
of God.
(GW) I didn't avoid telling you the
whole plan of God.
9. Acts 20:23 I
only know
that in every
city the Holy
Spirit warns
me that
prison and
hardships are
facing me.
(CEV) In every city I visit,
I am told by the Holy
Spirit that I will be put
in jail and will be in
trouble in Jerusalem.
10.
11.
12. Acts 20:24 However, I
consider my life worth
nothing to me, if only I may
finish the race and
complete the task the Lord
Jesus has given me--the
task of testifying to the
gospel of God's grace.
13. THE MEANING OF YOUR LIFE IS NOT
COMPLETE IF YOU DONT SHARE
THE GOSPEL
14. Act 20:24 But that matters little.
What matters most to me is to
finish what God started: the job
the Master Jesus gave me of letting
everyone I meet know all about
this incredibly extravagant
generosity of God.
15. (WNT) But even the sacrifice of my life
I count as nothing, if only I may
perfect my earthly course, and be
faithful to the duty which the Lord
Jesus has entrusted to me of
proclaiming, as of supreme
importance, the Good News of God's
grace.
16.
17. Act 20:24 However, I consider my
life worth nothing to me, if only I
may finish the race and complete
the task the Lord Jesus has given
me--the task of testifying to the
gospel of God's grace.
18. (GW) But I don't place any value on
my own life. I want to finish the
race I'm running. I want to carry
out the mission I received from
the Lord Jesus-the mission of
testifying to the Good News of
God's kindness.
19.
20.
21. Acts 20:26 Therefore, I declare to
you today that I am innocent of the
blood of all men.
(GW) Therefore, I declare to you
today that I am not responsible for
the spiritual death of any of you.
(NLT) Let me say plainly that I have
been faithful. No one's damnation
can be blamed on me,
