Apple also produces iTunes, which is used to download and store music, movies, TV shows, and podcasts. iTunes connects to Apple products like the iPod and was originally the only way to transfer songs. Apple was founded in 1976 by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak and went public in 1980 to raise expansion funds. Apple is now owned by shareholders and was originally an IT company but expanded into media with iTunes.

Computers. Apple also produced ITunes which is

the Apple products like the Ipod and is the only
way of transferring songs onto the Ipod etc

themselves to start the company.
After having success with the release of their first two models
Steve Woznaik and Steve jobs took the company public in 1980 in
order to raise the money they needed in the effort to expand the

Bill Gates owns 51% of the company, Apple. Apple Inc. didn’t
actually start as a media company it started as an IT company but
when ITunes was made it caused them to change to a media
company because it produced music. Apple now own numerous
companies. Some of which include: Apple acquired C3
Technologies which is a 3D mapping company.

being PC manufacturers for example; Dell. but of
course you can also factor in Microsoft as a rival
to their Operating System (OS X/XP).Recently
they have branched out considerably, into online
media (iTunes, Mobile Me, iPhone)so you can

sites, Hotmail and Gmail, and Samsung,
Blackberry.
6. A lot of Apples Customers are in fact people with there
own business. The reason for this is because of the apps
that you can download on the Apple products. This is a
good use for a business phone. As well as business owners
using Apple it is also very popular with the general public.

company that changes all the time its hard for them to
keep track of their operations and finances. Because of
this Apple had to redesign and revaluate its organizational
culture and structure in order to avoid bankruptcy.

sweatshop labour, environmental destruction, and unethical
business practices. Additionally it has been criticised because if its
legal policy of suing people before actually gathering all of the
necessary facts to peruse a legitimate law suit.
