conceptualization and implementation of education
development programs.
Our vision: a progressive Philippines with access to quality
education for all its people.

3. The Many Faces of the Teacher began as a campaign by Diwa
Learning Sytems giving recognition to the roles that
teachers play in students’ lives.
In 2004, it was expanded into a full-fledged advocacy under
BBFI for the purpose of identifying role models in the field
of education.
Past honorees include:
Dr. Onofre Pagsanjan, Dr. Milagros Ibe, Fr. James Reuter,
Queena Lee-Chua, Florentino Timbreza, Luis Teodoro,
Ronyla Santiago, Fr. Ewald Dinter and Jenelyn Baylon.

4. The advocacy aims to give recognition to exemplary
teachers who can inspire excellence in the teaching
profession.
We seek teachers who...
...are persons of integrity and good moral character.
...have good relations with their students, colleagues and
community members.
...exhibit a strong commitment to the teaching vocation.
...demonstrate sound values as applied to their teaching,
personal life and community involvements.
