Web Summit Dublin 2013
Web Summit – the Europe’s biggest technology-industry
conference is taking place in Dublin in the end of October.
Each year the event attracts plenty of planet's leading
startups and technology companies and this fall over 7000
attendees from all over the globe will come to Ireland to
hear from more than 350 speakers.
It is a great opportunity to present a startup and share
latest innovations with leading founders, investors CEOs,
inventors, designers and thinkers. Moreover, Web Summit
offers numerous programs and competitions which
enables every bright mind to take part in the conference.

Data includes 1326 requests for a „like” in a public vote for the People’s Stage. The majority shared their comments on Twitter (84%).
The graph below presents the number of requests for a vote between the June 18th and July 15th. Increased amount of comments on
particular days is generally connected with changes in voting schedule and with approaching a deadline of competition's rounds.
• 18th of June – launching the People's Stage for 25 speakers;
• 26th of June – increase of the amount of speakers from 25 to 50, extending the application deadline;
• 5th of July – the end of the first pool in the first round;
• 9th of July – beginning of voting for the second pool;
• 15th of July – the end of the first round

request for vote for a particular nominee the
users shared. The total number of mentions
for each person (in brackets) is divided into

The chart includes only 15 most popular
names. 143 nominations were shared only
